Donald Trump’s Victory in US President Elections: Will it be Good or Bad Overall?

So finally, all the noise and drama around the US President elections is over. Donald Trump who was expected to come second behind the Democratic party candidate Hillary Clinton sprung a surprise by emerging as the victor. he got the key states of Florida and Ontario. The election campaign was very bitter. Many charges were traded between the two, and it was personal too.

Yet, after the win, may be in a diplomatic and realistic spirit, Trump was more conciliatary. He said some good words about his rival Hillary Clinton. He even went to meet the now outgoing president Barrack Obama, to seek his views on many issues and general talk. Now, during his campaign, he bitterly criticized “Obamacare”- the Obama announced American Healthcare Programme.

He was even critical of Obama administration’s handling of Foreign affairs and Military affairs.
Now, that he is the President, the big question is: Will his victory be good or bad overall?
His stance on many issues seem very radical and many fear that his measures will anatgonise many and create conflict situation on issues like:

->Immigration, as he has said that he will get many illegal migrants deported back to their countries.
->Renegotiate Trade treaties, and even dealings with NATO.
->Views on Middle East, Afghanistan.
->Diplomatic and Trae Ties with China.

Some fear that his measures will push United States into isolationism, and will create a blow to Globalisation. Some others say that he will do a bit good for the country and the isolation will not be too much high.
Changes in relation with China will be beneficial in some respects for the American manufacturing but then it might hurt many of the consumers in the country who use many of the Made in China products.
Moreover, other countries like Mexico, China etc who will receive anti-dumping duties on their exported goods, might also reciprocate and that could hurt the trades between those countries and US.

On terrorism and global security, his views could find some support from Russia, though some other countries and European allies might be concerned.

So overall, one needs to keep one’s fingers crossed and see how things unfold.

    • Trump's presidency is very much an unknown at this point. I have been very disappointed with his campaign rhetoric and actions. I think the fact he was elected reflects very poorly on the American people. That being said, I have no clue what kind of president Donald Trump will be. I just hope he does nothing disasterous. That is my hope.

    • I say let the man get in office before passing judgment on the man. Sure he may have a mouth that needs to be washed out with soap but he is great when it comes to business. He already has many nations wanting to negotiate truths with us (United States) and end the possibility of war. War cost money and Trump doesn't like to spend unnecessary money. As for these cry babies who are upset about their candidate losing, they need to grow the hell up and accept what happened. Rioting/protesting is not going to change the outcome. Filling out petitions is not going to change the outcome. Those who are claiming that Trump is #NotMyPresident is welcome to leave the country at any time.

    • Really, the outcome of this election has brought about some thoughts both negative and positive in the minds of people. The presence of fear in people's mind is unimaginable due to things that happened during the election campaign. Every mentioned continent is on the look out of what would become of Donald Trump's Presidency.

      • you said it right Mr. Donald is a businessman. His father and forefathers were all experts in dealing with business activities. His father has left a sound financial background which he developed with his personal capacity without the help of others. He purchased TV shows, participated in the bids of contracts and developed the property. At the same time faced many legal cases in connection with his business. If somebody is jealousy of his development what one has to do with it. The public and especially the Citizen of U.S want a good administrator who can deliver the goods to their expectation.
As a businessman, he is only capable person , to carry out the business negotiations with the foreign countries as well as other business organizations.

His main success lies in showing his astuteness in dealing with the Business negotiations with China.

Let us wait and see how the things take a turn.

    • That remains to be seen. We really cannot tell how he works unless we let him do his job. Like our elected president Rody Duterte, many are really scared of him but now he was loved by the Filipinos.

    • Donald Trump's victory as the 45th President of U.S is undoubtedly beneficial to the U.S. Should it be beneficial to whom other than the U.S. The citizen are facing a number of problems. They have an unemployment problem, racism, trade union problems, workers problem, Women's problem. Besides this on account of being highly democratic national the whole world look for the implementation of democratic values in the whole world. It is in this context we have to see how far his Presidentship will fetch a good name and fame to the U.S.
The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were only purchased by the earlier Presidents. That is exactly true. In what way the backwardness of women in Afghanistan was hurting the U.S under Mr. George W . Bush? What made the U.S under the same President to wage war against Saddam Hussain of Iraq only to snatch away the oil fields of Iraq? Things of this sort have made the image of U.S corrupt.
Let us hope he would reverse the policies relating to the International Relations of the U.S and bring the lost glory of U.S.
