Do not mix online identity with real life

I already talked about unsafe elements on the social networks, like the Facebook – but also any other network which includes a lot of strangers piled up together. I do not believe that networks are in any fault of doing anything wrong, but the people who use it.

The networks are only a technological channels that can bind various and different people together, or they can cause a lot of different problems. Some of those social network problems are not important and can’t be considered anything but childish pranks by high school kids who are always hungry of somebody’s attention but other can end up very badly for ones included. I don’t care about teens and adolescents having a problem s with makeup and first loves, I care about it my close friends who created the sets of various problems by using something that messed their brains. I talked to some people online which I do not know in person and what I noticed from their behaviour can be applied to anyone – don’t share too much of yourself online, doesn’t involve your family and friends, don’t reveal your feelings unless they are good, be sure to make everything work to your advantage, whatever you say, if you say something be prepared to take responsibility for the said matter, because you won’t be able to take it back.

S some things are small, and irrelevant, like the parks of the high school kids, but some are not so mild and not so irrelevant.
Is it true that facebook can ruin your personal life? I am sure it will never put my personal life at stake because it does not define what or who I am. I have enough things going on right now to make any importance of Facebook. It is true that I like using Facebook for personal agendas, like the contacts to my beloved, family and friends, but besides that, I am not one of the people who will parade around and advertise myself to be something special. I admire people who can do that and keep a whole or at least a certain dignity. But, in many cases it is a circus I refuse to participate in.

There is a fine tune limit till which you can go, if you value yourself as an adult person and if you have no regards to you or to your family.
I am not saying that your family, if you’re a married person like me, has to have an absolute control of your online life – the online life should have a level of privacy same like the real life, so it is nobody’s business what you ‘re doing there – but, the is one issue with this.
If you have a second existence online one that is separated from your marriage and family life, it should be only and only on one and it should never mix with your real life or your real identity. Because at the moment when it does, something will come out wrong.

    • It is one of the cautions Facebook users should take into consideration before sharing too much online. Some people use it as their diary, which is quite offbeat.

    • I agree, a person should be wary before you reveal to much about yourself online. I personally stick to the basics and don't give too much of my information out as you can't always be sure of who has access to it and what they will do with that information. I have started to hear more and more about cases of identity theft lately.
