Desertification of lands

Due to desertification we are loosing 9.64 crores hectares of cultivated  lands. Is One third of land in the country is becoming like Thar desert? Crop lands are becoming sapless and becoming Fuller’s earth. The scientists are saying it is quite rite. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) taking photos of land since 10 years by satellite while scrutinizing them they have find this that 9.64 hectares of land nearly 30 percent in turning as desert it, it is critical.

Due to increasing human needs cultivated lands and for  cattle feed, water resources destroying the forests, by these activities lands are becoming useless and turning to sapless. India is one of the largest food producing nation in the world. India is playing a key role in producing and exporting  fruits, vegetables and food grains to the world. India is second in producing paddy and wheat in the world and first in producing fruits.
As one of the largest producer due to turning of fertile cultivated lads becoming sapless lands, it is difficult  to India and fast growing population. In India the ISRO found that 9 states among 29 states are becoming desertification and affect with drought in near future.
Including Telangana state, Rajasthan,Maharastra, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Odissa and Madrapradesh, the lands of these 9 states becoming sapless to the extent of 23.95 percent and one percent land is becoming sapless in other remaining states of India.
India is loosing 9.64 crores of Hectares of cultivated land which is 4 times bigger than the Great Britain, like these if the desertification continues and damage the production this will be not only effect India and even on the world also. By loosing fertility in the lands will severely effect on crops, this reflects no safety of food crores of people. Actually it will take thousands of year to become cultivated lands to sapless, but due to human fault this happening in tens of years. To make these sapless lands to cultivated lands it will take long time, this can be done by to bring up  forests, and water conservation.
To increase the production, using chemical fertilizers, how far they are good to the crops but they are making the fertile lands in to sapless lands. In 2003-2005 Govt planned to turn lands from desertification to fertile lands, but by 2011-2013 the double land was become sapless is distress.
