Charity for sick, poor and children

Charity for poor

We all have heard that the charity begins from home but some of us use it for personal benefit. I have a long list of institutes and organizations that collect funds in the name of charity and misuse it. I donated INR 200 (US$3) to a website recently because I had earned it for joining a program and donated it to the site owner because I thought I hadn’t earned it by my efforts.

But it made me almost clingy, but making a man feel guilty isn’t going to help your cause. The interesting point to note is how much does a charity spend on raising the fund. I was going through cost factors of being about charitable and felt too emotionally dependent on certain points.

One of the points is when a profitable unit suddenly jumps into charity programs through the donations it makes me suspicious. I have a clear understanding into this that if you wish to donate something do it from your own earning. That was quite interesting to see that and if you were to believe those states, the charities spend almost 5 to 50 percent on fund raising (it goes up to 90% in some cases).

My favorite charity programs

My favorite charity is the India Development and Relief Fund, Reliance Foundation, Charitable Aid Foundation India and Prime Minister Relief fund Service because they are spending the least on fund raising (Only 3-4 percent) still doing the best for humanity. They are ready with 24-hour emergency service for those who live, work and travel throughout India and abroad.

Ever since I have been in job, I have made a monthly contribution. I wanted to join Mother Teresa charity Service and become a regular giver because it enables them planning for children and poor’s future in a far better way. It is impossible to help everyone so I’m looking after one that is very close to my heart. I feel all of us participate in the cause of poor in some way or the other.

    • Looking at the pic of the post really my friends tears float in my eyes and I think that we each of us must pay charity to the poor so that they could eat good food and wear good clothes at home and out of homes. It is the biggest blessing and goodness on earth.

[2:262] Those who spend their money in the cause of GOD, then do not follow their charity with insult or harm, will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

[2:263] Kind words and compassion are better than a charity that is followed by insult. GOD is Rich, Clement.

[2:267] O you who believe, you shall give to charity from the good things you earn, and from what we have produced for you from the earth. Do not pick out the bad therein to give away, when you yourselves do not accept it unless your eyes are closed. You should know that Allah is Rich, Praiseworthy.

Any charity you give is for your own good. Any charity you give shall be for the sake of GOD. Any charity you give will be repaid to you, without the least injustice.

[2:273] Charity shall go to the poor who are suffering in the cause of GOD, and cannot emigrate. The unaware may think that they are rich, due to their dignity. But you can recognize them by certain signs; they never beg from the people persistently. Whatever charity you give, GOD is fully aware thereof.

[2:274] Those who give to charity night and day, secretly and publicly, receive their recompense from their Lord; they will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
