Cats and dogs and pet lovers v/s PETA

The fact dogs have been bred as companion animals for thousands of years and will protect and mourn the deaths of their ‘masters’ signifies a deep level of connection. The piglets get castrated, and as I read in different channels their tails docked and teeth clipped without anesthetic and their mums can be locked in tiny stalls for years. Pigs are often smarter than dogs and can make great companion animals.

Some cultures eating dogs and cats as farmed animals is not entirely true, it’s misleading. The truth is within these cultures that do eat cats and dogs are often beaten while alive to soften the meat and boiled alive in plastic bags to reduce the costs.

I have the dubious distinction of belonging to a country where this practice is very much there in certain states of north eastern parts although a very small number of people are doing so. You will be surprised to note that that they can eat anything that flies, walks or runs on its feet.

But it is nothing worse than so-called animal lovers mistreating pets, while tragic gets a lot more attention and hate than the much more common abuse of factory formed animals. The animals the world over are subjected to hideous, consistent sustained torture so we humans can look and smell pretty. Be careful what you buy.

It was a very simple question coming from a tourist if the hunting was legal in India? What I found after all my research was, in rural India Blue bull are a pest. And according to dictionary the pest is a plant or animal that can cause harm to human or cause of human. The Blue Bull commonly known as “Neel Gaay, the blue cow or bull a horse like animal” in local language is known to harm the crops in a big way. As such primary producers are legally able to shoot, trap, poison, or basically ‘control’ these animals or pests but they must obtain permission for the same from concerned authorities.  I checked it in Google and found it “The nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus), sometimes called nilgau, is the largest Asian antelope”.

What is this about all the hypocrites blasting Maneka Gandhi the most active member of PETA in India and known for her work the world over? I think none of the meat we enjoy daily belongs in the habitat they were farmed in either, so maybe we should be rescuing the cows and chickens too. There should be a proper awakening program all over the world telling our society how to deal with it, not some organization dedicated to annihilating to certain animals like dogs and cats but in general. But that should be on a better organized level and I don’t see what a particular animal welfare has got to do with this educational program for younger generation.

My view is that the real pest is the human who introduced certain animals to this country and let it grow in the name of religion, incidentally cow is a holy animal for the majority population of India but the next biggest society eats it. The fact is all pests are ‘introduced’. I don’t like a bit the poisoning, culling, and attitude towards animal. What about murderers and rapists, they are the real ‘pests’? Why do they get away with all the crap? Just what is the role of P.E.T.A. in all this?

    • In the U.S. the role of PETA seems to be to give the most confused and unemployable young people something to do...and the ones who dropped the most acid are now the leaders (I suspect).

    • Okay let me just say that o may not know much about PETA myself but what i gathered is that they are a group that is against the violation of cats and dogs correct me is am wrong. Anyway i believe all animals have a right to be protected not just a few of them. But i also have an issue when it comes to a certain community that eats dogs and cats, we all have our own thoughts on that. As for me i know a dog or a cat should not be eaten for certain reasons known to man and the bible. We know that they are to be taken as pets because there are categories where certain animals are to be eaten and others not to be eaten. Anyway i found something really interesting in your article where you said pigs can be very friendly and i thought mmmhh. I wonder how given that they are so noisy and dirty how would you make it a pet. They are also so messy, i don't see how i would get a pig to be my pet. I cannot even stand being close to them let alone be around them. No wonder even in the villages if someone has pigs they keep them as far away from the house as they can.
When it comes to pets attacking their own trainers i think its all about how you keep them and treat them. If you mistreat you dogs or cats they will one day turn agaimst you amd you will be so sorry that you even had them as your pets. It gets to a place when even you as a human being you get so tired of being ill treated that you finally decide to walj out on the person who treats you badly right? The same thing happens with the cats and dogs. I normally say if you cannot take care of an animal or someone just don't get into it let those who have the patience and compassion do it.
