India stands in 77 ranks in World calamity list, Vanuatu islands first in this calamity list. United Nations University Institute for the environment and human security (UNUEHS) was released world’s calamity list of 2016. They have issued a list of nations to lurk According to calamities like Floods, Cyclones, Earthquakes, they have given the ranks for 171 countries.

Our adjacent country “Bangladesh” in 5th rank, the countries around our nation Nepal and China are more safety than us. Pakistan 72, Srilanka 63, Bhutan 60 Afghanistan 41, Myanmar 42 they are facing more danger. China stands in the ranks of 85 and Nepal ranks in 108, they are more in the better position than us.

In Calamity danger, the initial arrangements are the main factor, defective arrangements, a weak services make more severeness of the calamity will increase. After the calamity, the challenges are ready the supply chain the last people in receiving the help. Supply of water and food is important, and also the roads and bridges.

Several countries are not in a position if calamities happen, there are not having facilities to warn about the natural calamities. Even after the calamity, the immediate help is not in a position. Some countries are not concentrating on rehabilitation.

To face these calamities, Electricity supplies, natural gas, crude oil must be ready to supply anytime. Must have strong Telecommunications, internal waterways, and airways to reach every point. Even if the train and roadways damaged in calamity the alternative ways waterways and airways to help the people. Medical aid and medicines also must in hand. If drainage system and water supplies are in good condition, it is not a problem to serve in calamity time also.

Danger in India, transport facilities(Roads, Trains ways, and Aerodromes are in 50 to 75 only.

According to National calamity contingent agency senses, 58.6 lands is having danger some extent to the large extent. Northeast states, Himalayan Mountain area and some part of Gujarat is in more danger.

India is having 7516 coastal area out of that 5,700 coastal area is in danger with cyclones and Tsunamis. Floods danger may be 4 crores hectares, In India, 68 percent cultivated area may be affected with the dryness.
