Are there Best Times to Tweet?

Twitter Applications – When should I tweet

You may already know about twitter applications and where to find the same. Today we will focus more on that and therefore raises the question: When should I tweet, are there better and worse times to do it? Obviously there are no golden rules on how to use twitter or what is best to do. Everyone finds their own way and with a bit of testing and tinkering will come to the end of a method that works best for them. However, there are proven methods and tips all around the internet.

Tips for twitting

Today I share with you the tips that I think is worth testing, namely the timing. Obviously, there are some rules on how social media works, Twitter in particular. If you are in the current mode and use both Twitter and FaceBook, you can make a quick comparison. Do you ever go back and look at old tweets for example yesterday’s? Do you go back and check the events and status updates on Facebook, for example, from yesterday? If your answer is NO, and YES, you can find very fast that Twitter is a channel where the information is usually timed in the present, while the information on Facebook are mostly current for a longer time.

If this claim is true, or at least not outright lie, so it must mean that there are certain times of the day where there is a greater chance that your tweets are made aware to your followers. Of course, you should not forget that these are two completely different social media platforms we are talking about. The number of followers on Twitter cannot be compared with the number of friends you have on Facebook. Many often describe Twitter as a digital coffee room full of interesting people (those you follow).

Here you can sit down and join the conversation at any time while this is a place where they converse with their friends. The structure of the various services is set clearly. On Twitter, anyone can follow your updates while they have to be friends with you on Facebook to see what you do. There are services that help you to analyze when your followers on Twitter are most active. Obviously, it is not scientifically proven, but an analysis of the times of their tweets should provide a good estimate of when it is most likely that they read your tweets.

Go to one such service, enter your Twitter name, and then wait for the results. The graph you get thus shows when your followers tweet. If you want to share something with your followers, you need as many people as possible to be part of it. It is a good start, now you have a better idea of when your followers on twitter are most active. If you have something important to share, something you want more people to read or something you believe that more people will appreciate, you have more chance to reach out with your message when your followers are most active.

    • I do use a Twitter scheduler. At times, I have seen that something posted on early American Pacific day time gets more re-tweets, but that is not everyday.
Also, it is more important to have 10-12 active followers rather than 100s of inactive ones.

    • Twitter is an amazing tool to use. Along with Hootesuite, it can be beneficial. I find that the hours of 4 to 6 pm are good hours to tweet. Also, using hashmarks (#) and locating your base is a good way to generate interest. Whether you like him or not, Our President Trump has managed to use Twitter to his advantage. We should learn to do so, likewise, especially when we are trying to promote a specific business or idea. I would think active and daily use is a plus in Twitter.
