Authority Positions Shouldn't Include Abuse of Power
What does being in authority mean? It has different definitions to different people. One in authority are to use their authority to not only generate change but to generate positivity. They should abuse their power and some may thing that abusing their power is acceptable because of their position. We’ve witnessed those who may abuse their power and those who faced scrutiny for their methods.
Unfortunately some have lost the respect of some authority figures because of their behavior. Some may display erratic behavior or uncontrollable anger and that can result in mounds of disrespect. A high position or position that requires dealing with people should be handled with care. Those who feel as if they’re in a position to intimidate others because of their positions are undermining themselves.
Certain positions shouldn’t be held by enraged and angry individuals. Those who have proven that they can be a danger to society shouldn’t have certain responsibilities. If there’s no compassion then it would be very difficult for one be effective in their authority positions.
There’s so many positions that require supervising a group or a whole organization and those positions should include some compassion. There’s been too many cases where abuse of power has created a tumbling effect. It’s almost as if caring has gone out the window.Of course there should be rules but if one isn’t using the rules for themselves then the rules are ineffective.
Being in authority is very important and anyone holding an authority position should take it seriously and should respect others. If one finds themselves facing unruly authority figures then they should bring it to their attention and if their communications go unheard. They should immediately contact their superiors.
Everyone is equal and no one should be treated as if they have no worth. Anyone who uses their position to intimidate others aren’t very effective in their chosen position. There’s some that will continue the abuse of power cycle but eventually they will have to own up to their behavior.
