Bechamel Spaghetti with Chicken Recipe

Tired of thinking what to make for dinner or lunch? Need a good idea to feed your family that is easy to do? Well this is the perfect option. A pan of spaghetti with slices of chicken breast and bechamel sauce is the easiest thing to make and it is enough for a family of 4. This is one of my go to recipes when i need to make something fast for a party of even for a family dinner:

What do you need?

  • 1 pack of spaghetti (500g)
  • 1 pack of bechamel sauce (500ml)
  • 2 chicken breasts slices up
  • Half of an onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • tablespoon of olive oil
  • pinch of salt

 

In a large pan boil the spaghetti with a pinch of salt. While the spaghetti is boiling we prepared the rest. So in a sauce pan sauté the onions and garlic with olive oil until lightly brown, then add the chicken breasts and sauté them until cooked. When the chicken is fully cooked add the bechamel sauce into the sauce pan with the chicken and add the milk. Let this come to a light boil and then tke it off the heat. When the spaghetti is fully cooked, remove the water and add the bechamel mixture. Mix up wel to get the sauce all over the spaghetti and give it a taste. Depending on you taste you can add more salt if needed.

Now you are ready to serve. This is a good recipe that will fill up a whole family and is delicious. This dish tastes good hot or cold. It is the perfect dish to eat at any time of the year.

Tip: Spaghetti recipes are very economic. It is cheap to buy and you can find very simple recipes with spaghetti that taste awesome. You can make spaghetti with almost anything so you can vary with it alot.

    • It could be delicious and healthy too because you use chicken breast instead of other meat. But I like seafood sphaghetti where I use assorted seafoods like shrimp, oysters, tuna fillets, with lots of garlic, onion and olive oil as the sauce. I add mint, oregano, etc. to enhance it more.

    • It sounds very delicious, I may try it as I love spaghetti. I rarely eat meat, but if eat it's always only chicken, so I can try your dish.
