Practically every household will have a packet of butter that appears on the table when it is time for breakfast. This butter is mostly made from milk and is considered to increase one’s bad cholesterol. For this reason I had stopped using it.
Giving up butter totally did not quite suit my palette having been used to applying a thick layer of it on my toast for a sumptuous morning breakfast with eggs and all. Thanks to my interaction on social networking sites and also my own search on the Net I discovered something that I thought would satisfy my palette – peanut butter.
I learnt that Peanut butter is a strong antioxidant. It contains magnesium potassium and vitamin B6. It has zero cholesterol unlike the normal butter that we eat. It is a health booster considering all those properties it contains. I should have known about the properties as being health conscious I have been eating nuts that included roasted peanuts. And nuts help one lower the bad cholesterol.
There are several peanut butter brands that are doing the rounds in the market. After sampling them I have finally settled down for American Garden U.S. Peanut Butter Chunky, While other brands have not taken care of the unpleasant odour of peanut oil this brand has.
has both the smooth and chunky variety. The chunks are of uniform size that makes biting a pleasure.
I had ordered for another brand of peanut butter that had chocolate in it. Chocolate is added for its sweetness but this brand had added dark chocolate which did not gel with it at all.
I am not sure American Garden also has peanut butter with chocolate.
I add some jam that I have made at home and sometimes go for Nutella hazelnut choco spread to go with the peanut butter chunky and that gives it a great taste
American Garden U.S. Peanut Butter Chunky will adorn my breakfast table for a long time to come and if I find that they also have peanut butter chunky with chocolate that will be my final choice.

Most peanut butter sold here are local made, USA made peanut butter are expensive and left on the shelf until expiry date and sold at 70% off.
This review made me drooling again.
Maybe I should go hunt down this peanut butter at another local supermarket.

@peachpurple I tried different brands as mentioned in my blog but this brand tastes good and does not smell. Amazon gives free delivery if our order is of a value more than Rs. 500. I order for two packs.
