Kashmir has a disputed area since the creation of Pakistan and Hindustan a. Many efforts have made to resolve this burning issue but all joints efforts failed to lack of understanding between the two countries leaders. International communities have been doing nothing about this issue I do not know why? UNO has also does not take any step to settle this issue.
Political leaders have emphasized on the international leaders to stop innocent killing in Kashmir according to UNSE resolution. They must moral support of Kashmiri people at any cast. India is making the violation of human rights but no international leaders forbid India to stop it. India is spreading terrorism in Kashmir politically and morally openly and killing males and females.
International Amnesty and Human Rights Watch both are watching what the Indian armies are doing in India but they are doing nothings to resolve it seriously. The super powers, USA, USSR, France, China and United Kingdom must take steps against Indian armies’ bloodsheds in Kashmir. But No one is ready to solve this problem. After passing 60 years the problem is still the same as was before 69 years ago.
The State of Jammu and Kashmir came into being in 1846 as a Treaty of Amritsar. After this it was sold to Ghulab Singh by Lord Lawrence by Rs: 7500,000. Thus Ghulab Singh became its at large ruler. But Ghulab Singh nominated Maharaja Purtab Singh as his successor after his death. But at the time of the partition of Pakistan its ruler was Harri Singh.
At the time of partition the Maharajas were leading their lives best. The Muslims were at their mercy because all key posts were in their hands. Lawlessness was increasing day by day in the State. Pondering over this situation the misaims started agitation against the Maharajas under the indomitable leadership Muhammad Ali Jinnah and demanded their basic political rights. To suppress the Muslims’ Movement the Maharajas used force and arrested the Muslim freedom fighters and jailed them.
After partition Gandhi visited Kashmir because it was a private property ruled by Maharajas. In the meeting Gandhi suggested Maharajas to make accession to India. So according to Gandhi her wanted to decide the future of Kashmir. But Nehru said that if Pakistan tried to make accession to Kashmir Indian forces would be face to face in the battle field. But the Kashmir Muslims wanted its accession to Pakistan. At this the Hindus and Maharajas suppressed the Muslims and half of Muslims came to Pakistan.
India requested the Security Council to forbid Pakistan to send her troops in Kashmir to support freedom fighters. On 25 Oct, the Maharajas left Kashmir and the Treaty of Amritsar was torn into pieces and the Dogra Rule was imposed on Kashmir by The British Government. But on 27 Oct, India landed her troops in at Srinaghar and thus set up Indian Government in Kashmir with the help of British Government. Thus Kashmir was declared a disputed area between Pakistan and India. It is still now.
Sheikh Abdullah started Quit Kashmir Movement he was sent to jail. At the same Mr. Jinnah met with Lord Mountbatten for the purpose of making plebiscite in Kashmir under the leadership of Security Council. But the Indian Government said that Plebiscite in Kashmir would be under Indian Government.
On 14, Feb, 1047, Britain, Australia, Cuba and USA showed their intentions to solve the Kashmir problem soon but Russia made it veto. Ayyub Khan and
The Prime Minister of India discussed Kashmir issue but their mission fails. Mr. Bhutto also failed to resolve the Kashmir dispute. On the other hand, The Security Council got silence on topic knowingly. In 1965, India declared emergency in the State of Jammu Kashmir. And thus according to Integration Bill Kashmir was declared the province of Indian Government.
To sum up, owing to Kashmir dispute India and Pakistan has made three horrible wars, The War of 1947, The War of 1965, The War of 1971 but the Kashmir dispute is still the same. Neither any big power takes interest in this dispute now any Resolution was passed to solve the Kashmir dispute. God better knows what will be with the Kashmiri people. Let us wait for its result

Kashmir had become an integral part of India and with acceding to the sensitivity of the rulers and the population there. It was also given a special status under the Indian which no other state enjoys today Kashmir has unfortunately become a land of trouble makers and stone throwers. After so much of development being done the people there do not seem to value it and there are trouble makers who are hell bent on formenting trouble at the least possible instance to keep the pot boiling. Payments for these activities are made from foreign soil. If someone is going to come and tell a country that we have to break a part of your land no self respecting nation or its forces will keep quite. The genocide which was done during partition and the one in which many many Hindus were killed are easily forgetten when we speak of human rights the rights of everyone matter and no one can take upon himself the licence to kill with AK 47 rifles grenades and other weapons which are meant only for armies of the world. It is not a million dollar question as to where these things come into their hands and who gives them training and tutors them. If trouble is fomented and the country interests are diluted no self respecting nation will keep quiet. A motley group of individuals cannot take the nation at ransom anywhere in the world leave alone in India. This is a fact.
Based on the Kashmir issue, I think it should be intervened internationally. It has been a long time that the killings are evident and terrorize the local people.I do believe that it wasn't easy especially if they are fighting beyond their principles. The conflicts should be tamed to attain peace between the countries.
Have not heard anything about this in US news reports. But I don't get cable TV. However, it's not like we (we meaning “USA”) are not aware of this dispute. But Kashmir is just not on our “priority” radar. We have terrorists, undocumented immigrants, and a potential influx of war refugees to keep us occupied. Not to mention we have a President Elect who will be inaugurated January 20, 2017 and some of US are not really looking forward to the next 4 to 8 years. We don't know what the impact of the decisions and actions of the new political administration will bring or “cause”. We're bracing ourselves.
The Kashmir dispute is actually a problem that should be solved by you (you meaning “India, Kashmir and Pakistan”). When your neighbors are fighting, you don't always go stick your nose in their business, even though you can hear them yelling and screaming.
If you're fighting with a country bigger than you, you need to make an ally and/or bring the matter to the attention of an international community that addresses such matters like the United Nations. That's how it works with other nations. However, the people of Kashmir can not and should not wait and hope for “outside help” to deliver them. They need to take a stand and promote their own defense. Don't know how they are going to do that. But it has been an awfully long time. Surely they are not waiting for some other country to come to their rescue. If an “outsider” country steps in to settle the matter, the Kashmiri people might find themselves taken over by an enemy worse than India. Some folks who say they're here to help, what they really mean that they're here to help themselves.
I know it's not worth anything and the problem remains unsolved. But that's “my two cents”.
