Embracing Some Struggles For Tomorrows’ Hope
How high is the mountain?
It is towering and so proud of being huge
How wide is the mountain?
It is sending its gravity and magnitude
Whenever there is quake and high tides
How lonely is the mountain?
It stands alone forever more in its own shadows
How far is the mountain?
Each one desirous to reach the top must come
How lovely is the mountain?
It attracts people, wild animals and birds in the horizons
How patient is the mountain?
People dig something inside of it
They are looking for gold bars
They are envious and dislike by stars
That almost kisses the tip of the mountain
How cruel is man to mountain
That is proven and seen by everyone how it suffers
Now what mountain does to the invaders of his right?
It shakes so madly and lets flood flow in every corner of his height
What else mountain does?
It corrodes some sharp stones hidden deep in his pocket
It throws some unknown twigs that scatter on his side
They are so numerous and no one could stop the mountain
Can you be consoled by a hug of love and respect?
Can you feel our constant need in you?
Without you, no more shelter during torrential storms
Without you, people cannot anymore see your lovely view
And without you, no more nice and cool place children to play
Everything may stumble and all in constant trouble
For no more you to be depended on
From tornado, tsunami, flash flood
Then people will realize
You are as important as life.
Let us now embrace some struggles for tomorrows’ hope
In its foot, rugged sand spreading the entire land
It’s so painful to walk in this rugged soil now
Corroborated with small sharp stones and stiff twigs
They are the residues from the top of the mountain
I have to suffice and sustain to end my journey
To reach the top most and feel the fresh air and cool wind
T o alleviate thereon some memories
That keeps on taunting me night and day as if no end
Don’t panic, said me, feel the presence of the universe
Feel it like having some picnic affairs
For mountain is like a youth that looks so charming
It entertains our wanting by climbing its top
What it does not like pollution and injection
To kill its height and end its lonesome happiness
For people may take away mountains’ own resources?
Let us never dishonor and disregard our nature.
So ours would be glory and peace.
Let us obey the laws of nature big and small creatures
They are life’s partners that shine our dream and daily chores
If you are sad come see the mountain
It looks so lonely yet so strong
Even an earthquake cannot move its height
It cannot stumble down except abused
By some ambitious criminals to dig its wealth
We call gold God owns.
