Everyone has his own quota of good and moments and so have I. But I have learned to live with my own quota joy and sorrow and as we all know that we cannot avoid them but we have to face them. Problems are part of the life or you can compare them with waves of an ocean. But then you can learn to swim that will keep you safe from getting drowned.
Do you think there is a universal design or way how to fight with your inner problems the answer will be no because everyone faces different problems and one has to think them on his own ways. While on the topic of problems and how to face them a simple point comes to my mind. Is there a set pattern of displaying your sympathy to someone close to you suffering from something serious?
We all find ourselves in certain situations where you have no solution to many simple problems. I could never express my feelings when I met a close friend or a distant relative who lost his near and dear one, I was at total loss of words. In fact I did not speak or use words which would worsen the situation so I kept quiet. I found it better expression of my feelings.
I remember reading a book a couple of years before written by Ruth Davis Konigsber, “The Truth About Grief: The Myth of Its Five Stages and the New Science of Loss”. Ruth describes about human sufferings in detail. He says a person passes through phases during his suffering from a particular problem. He tells in detail about all five stages of unacceptability, anger, reasoning, sorrow and acceptance in the end.
However, according to Ruth Davis Konigsber the best way to comfort someone at a time of grief or disappointment is to let him adjust with his own problems. You can help him take him out only if he is feeling guilty conscious but if it’s a case of death you can do very little by speaking lots of words.
