It is perhaps the oldest desire of human being to look beautiful and they have been trying to achieve beauty ever since they begun to understand things from ancient times. In fact, beauty was always considered an essential value of human by their looks physic, nature and health.
And the standard of beauty or what is considered ‘good looking’ changes through time as it is very much part of the human nature that they never feel satisfied with any definition of beauty but their values keep changing.
But while on the subject let’s accept the fact that artificial beauty is only an image which disappears like drops of dew which disappears as the sun comes out. Beauty is not skin deep or but it lives within us, it’s related to our soul in short artificial beauty is not the real beauty but an illusion only.
And the fact that what was good looking until yesterday might turn into something ugly tomorrow on the other hand what looks ugly today might well be looking beautiful tomorrow. Therefore, beauty should not be judged on face value but each and everyone is beautiful, some of them look so while the others are beautiful in true sense.
According to the halo effect theory attractive people have better chances to succeed but the question here is what is attractive. It is a typical question that deals with a very wide topic that covers attraction of a person on different scales. But the fact is every person has his own ‘charming points’.
Halo effect covers a person based on his overall impression including his physical looks, way of thinking, character, and how they deal with their coworkers, relatives, friends and others whoever they deal with. Halo effect is a theory that proves beyond any doubt that a person might not be good looking on physical standards but his other qualities qualify him to be as successful or even more than his companions.

Beauty is relative; some people regard a beautiful woman by her physical attributes; others consider her "inner being" that radiates its beautiful glow on the person making her beautiful too.
It's true that everyone has their own charm deep within themselves. Many times we tend to look at the outside and forget what is in the inside. The outside can be very deceiving. Someone can look all pretty and right in every way but when you take a look at their character or manners as many call it they are as rotten as it can get. You cannot even imagine that what your seeing is what is within. I have seen so many people who are good looking but their behaviours are wanting. But all the same we all have a good side of us, others are seen from the inside others from the outside. Someone may be ugly but when you talk to them they have the cleanest of hearts and are the most caring and warm hearted people you could ever come across.
