Weaving As Cordilleras Source Of Income

Cordillera Administrative Region is known when it comes to agriculture or farming, mining, and lots of opportunities like wood carving and doing handy crafts like weaving.

In this article, I am going to show some of the woven products of the Cordillerans most especially the Sagada weaving products.

• SPORTS DUFFEL BAG We usually use this bag when we travel or we use it as a bag for our things when we go to the gym or any sports activity as its name tells.
• SAGADA TAPIS INSPIRED FLATS  It’s a simple yet very comfortable to the feet. I love the color combination because it really depicts the culture of the Cordillera people.
• BACKPACK I don’t usually use a backpack but this is good to use when traveling. Easy to carry and of a good quality bag.
• POUCH I actually love using this pouch when I am going to the market or just to go meeting my friends outside. It is light to carry.
• SHOULDER BAG This shoulder bag is commonly used in our place and of different color combinations. I love the white and black combination of this bag. This can be used as a school or office bag or can be used anywhere we go.

There are many more of the products that inspired by our culture and I am happy to share it with you. What makes me proud in sharing these things is that it is known nationwide because of its quality. It has also become a trend in the world of fashion here in the Philippines. In the biggest malls, we could see different Sagada Weavings.
