The Consummate Politician; Angela Merkel

There are some people who want power.  Who will sell their children to get it.  And if they get it, once they get it, they will never let it go.

This is Angela Merkel.

If one follows her career they will note rather clever aspects.

For example, pushing Germany to the pinnacle of the European Union, so saying E.U. is actually saying Germany.   What Merkel wants, that is what is decided. I can understand other countries being a bit antsy about losing their national identity and volition to Germany.

However, she’s been able to manipulate and twist, so that many nations owe so much money to the E.U. they are virtual puppet states.

In an attempt to play the great benefactress of humanity, Merkel threw open Germany’s borders, inviting everyone to enter.

Now common sense will tell you, whether you run a club, or a school, a restaurant or a supermarket, there has to be someone at the door vetting those who enter.

A country is a lot more, or should be, a lot more secure than my local fast food joint.   But Germany became a welcome mat for ISIS, as people stormed in and sat down, demanding freeness.

Maybe Merkel thought she’d get a halo or some big prize to satisfy her ego.   But what she did was help terrorists commit terror, and turn the German people against her.

Not to worry, this is Angela Merkel, she can go from Right to Left in a heartbeat.   Suddenly she’s talking about deportations, and making demands of Tunisia to take back the asylum seekers that have been rejected.

Rejected!

Imagine that!  Saint Angela is rejecting the refugees she welcomed into her country.  Why?  Not the terrorist acts, not the murders of innocent people, but the fact she is slipping in the Polls!

Yes!

Merkel’s hold on power is slipping, and she will do anything to hold on.  If that means doing an about face, that is what it means.

The question is if the German people have had enough of her and her twists and turns, and will sweep her out.
