Refugees- Are They Not Humans? There Are Countries That Refuse Them

Each day war forces thousands of families to flee their homes. People like you, people like me , and to escape the violence they leave everything behind – everything except their hopes and dreams for a safer future.

Not all countries in the world are free from abuses by their own government? Usually these refugees are coming from a very poor country and others are coming from a country that is dominated by terrorists like Syria. The peace loving people ran away; others were able to make an exit, but only few of them were lucky most of them were killed. They may be not killed by bullets those who sued them, but most likely killed by killer waves in the ocean when their small ship in over capacity of the illegal passengers might have drowned at the middle of the ocean. Others if not killed by bullets of the terror group and may not be killed by torrential waves might have been killed by pirates in the sea. Fortunately others might have been able to reach the shore in a strange place, but they most probably suffer refusal by the people and government.

There are countries that temporarily accepted refugees so they will be given medication, food, orientation and introduction of some skills that may be used in earning some amount to survive. If there are so many of them, the government cannot shoulder all their temporary liberty. There might be some chances that they will be forced to go back to their country that provide no complete freedom and peace. Some never returned to their country of origin but proceeded to other country. Australia had accepted many refugees to live in their country. They were given a vacant space in their country and educate them so they could learn some basic education so they can communicate with the government and the social services. The Philippine President Duterte has pledge the world that should there be refuges to land in his country; he and the people are willing to accept them and stay safe and sound. The only thing to do is to educate them so they can get basic education in speaking and writing. They need to acquire some skills so they would not depend to the country for life.

We notice that these refugees are usually having mal-nourished children. Their skin gives us idea that they are usually black in skin. That is because they live in a country at the middle of the continent and God had given us distinction as to our race according to the color of our skin and height. But the summary of it all is we are all human beings with the same body parts and needs. They are the same humans that feel hungry and need comfort of life and better living. There was a year seen on the seashore refugees children landed on the seas lifeless. The parents and they tried to escape only to experience devastation in the ocean when their ship wreck and the waves tossed them to a land they supposed to seek refuge. The world was shocked on the happening and the people in the world blame their government for not responding to the need of its people wanting liberty so they can attain peace in their lives and taste some moments of joy eating nice foods and educating their young children. The sufferings of those people living in a chaotic country cannot be measured. They are helpless and weak in the findings of the solution to their immediate liberty.

For me, I have to give those refugees shelter and protection. They never choose to leave their country passing through difficulties in the sea if what they suffer is not at the extreme. Yes, they suffer much and who suffer much, the innocent children that do not know what is going on in the world having no war. Their minds are contaminated with sounds of mortars, heavy weapons and loud shouts and cry for help, cry and despair of pain. They need people to adopt them temporarily, so they can have shelter of their sensitive and weak bodies. They also need foods so they can have enough strength to decide for a better ways and think of their temporary liberty. Where to go next if not accepted in a country they land is a very big shame and pain on their hearts. I bet, many cry and sigh for they are unfortunate to be born in ac country not only so poor but chaotic. Their country like for example Syria is not poor. If only there is no war there or no terror, that country would surely booms as being the rich country of crude and the best gasoline that could supply the entire universe. They are lucky actually, but there are people there whose minds are distorted. Those terror groups are not satisfied to be having that wealth in their land, but they wanted to own the world and they are 100 % wrong.

Those refugees wanted to place their children to a safe country for they are mostly used by the terror groups to use as human shields an excuse so the armies from the superior countries cannot dare to shoot them, but all wrong for those military men can now attack the terrorists using drones without their knowledge and even to the higher profile weapon that could end thousand lives in an instance. The children are the most pitiful subject of thoughts of the world for they do not have the idea how to escape harm. They are too young to die from bullets and torture.

Because of these numerous reasons, why not allow the refugees to stay in the country where we live to console their aching heart, save them from hunger and give them chance to recover their devastated moments. Foremost this time, there is a ban of the refugees to enter United States of America. President Trump ordered banning of seven countries to acquire a visa for America and his reasons are so numerous and the main reason is to save America from the entry of terrorists that may carry terror attacks. This banning is temporary, so people should also examine side by side the reasons of president Trump to know if what he affirms will be the best solution to avoid terror attacks and escape fatalities from such terror attack. This means to say that terror attacks might spread anywhere in the world except America. What is noticed this time in Philippines is two ISIS killed during the deadly fight with the Philippine Armies?

Those refugees upon arrival in seashore will undergo scrutiny and thorough investigation will be done by authorities before they can be allowed to step in the dry land of the said country to seek refuge. There are so many happenings in the world beyond our knowledge; we have to know to share our assistance and great suggestions that might be beneficial to your own country and its people. The UNHCR, the UN Agency believes that all refugees deserve to live in safety. So, let us stand together with refugees so their government must act with solidarity and shared responsibility.

    • In my opinion, these refugees should be open to Developed countries not on third world countries like our country. Why, because in our country, there are also a lot of very poor people who are homeless and could harly eat 2 times a day, needing the help of the government. They should be attended to first before anyone.

Charity begins at home, that's how it should be.

    • There are two dimensions(in fact- multiple but I am more aware of two):
1)United Nations is not impartial and needs to formaulate and implement a uniform policy with regards to refugees and immigration.
2)Countries from where refugees originate must be provided help whenever and wherever possible and in cases of autocratic rulers, sanctions ought to be imposed on known leaders and not on the general population.

However, the problem is a tough one and it needs more collaboration between countries across the world.
