I joined a site. Seemed okay. Didn’t pay much. Said I would get $1.00 for every warm body I brought in who posted.
This sounded a little uncomfortable to me so I never posted my referral code nor recommended the site.
I went on for a time posting and then received an email from the owner who commended my writing and told me to join Flipboard to further promote my work.
I refuse to be a Shill. I refuse to be the reason anyone joins a site that I can not swear for. As I don’t own any site, as I don’t know the Owners of any site, I can not, in good faith recommend any site. The best I can do is say; “I joined Triond and was paid every month until it went down.”
To offer this kind of Bounty on warm bodies made me shiver and although it is sure tempting to bring in ten people and get ten dollars, it’s not in my character.
Further, the site is kind of funny. You’ll see you have $1.70 and come back and see you have $1.65.
I went to this site and didn’t see any Terms of Service. I looked around and found a ‘Policy’
Do you know what that says?
That site makes Edward Snowden look as if he isn’t trying. You join that site they get all your information and sell it to advertisers.
That’s not nice.
I wrote a piece on the site, and pasted the same italiced paragraph as I did here. The item would NOT be published. I kept getting an Error message.
I saved the draft, logged off, returned, and went to the Draft. The paragraph concerning Flipboard was deleted.
My article was there, but that paragraph, that quote was not.
NOW YOU GET IT
This site seems to be one of those scam types in which all deceptions are shelved. You are paid for being a Shill. It isn’t oblique, it isn’t a few pennies. You get more money bringing in warm bodies than you do writing.
Niume might be able to affix a halo on it’s head, but that it is linked to Flipboard to such an extent that it is virtually a front for that site proves I can trust my gut.
Be Wary
It is bad enough that Google and Facebook get your likes and interests and exploit them. But this site goes a bit too far. Further, that Niume is a virtual front for the site brings up more questions than answers.

You say right that there are many sites that working on internet nut why should we write on that site that does not pay the writer I sign in Niume but I find no option if the writers will be paid ad LB pays us. I think its is fake site for the writers/
The writer must write on the sites that pay the writer as google adsense, hubpages.. and many more...Niume is a site of question and answer as Cora is also the site of question and answer no profit no loss but waste of time.
I think LB is one of the best sites that pays.
Most sites will give you some bounty when you rope in another user. None pays you, up front, more money than they pay for your writing except Niume.
As freaky as that is... because imagine, if I write nothing but bring in 100 people I get $100....?
This Flipboard thing... nah... I don't trust it at all
