We usually have warmer weather in Spring here in Big D, Dallas, Texas.
But the weather has been a lot cooler than usual. Thus, I have been mowing my lawn every two or three weeks. Now that I have learned more about using my Black & Decker string trimmer/edger I bought at The Home Depot with earnings from my last redemption from Bubblews just a few weeks before they closed. A year later I am just unpacking the thing and have tried my hand at trimming the edge of our yard along the driveway and walk.
But even on a relatively cool day in Dallas in Springtime, I broke a sweat from this. Now, I do have a problem. My next door neighbor. I used to cut his lawn when I did ours. But today, after all that edging and such I am plumb tuckered out.
So while I chill out my neighbor might take a look at his lawn and see that I didn’t cut his. Oh well. He can get his own lawn mower. Or, I can try to mow his in a few more days but the thing is, I hate to cut around that fancy car he’s got out front, trying to sell. He bought a 2012 Jaguar for under 2 thousand and wants to sell it for double that.
If I was to try to mow his front yard his fancy car might get pinged. I can’t make myself cut his yard with that car parked up on the driveway so close to the grass. I suppose one day soon he will see me out front and mention getting me to cut his lawn. It’s probable but I still have to chill out one more day. If I do cut his lawn he will have to move that fancy smancy car off the lot first.
After all, he is my neighbor so I should be willing to negotiate things first.

Update. I cut the neighbor's front lawn, and a few days later after a light rain he sped out of his front yard so fast it left deep dark tread marks across his yard. I think he can cut it himself from now on and maybe I will plant a Sequoia at the edge of our lawn so it can grow up a few hundred feet and that will make it about impossible for him to drive across our front lawn. The nerve of some people. That is why I take Aspirin often. lol
