And by that I do not mean typing out your post titles in caps lock with stars and special characters beside it.
What do you think I’m suggesting?
Some of you might know and some may be waiting for some extravagant answer.
It’s very simple. In order to increase the visibility of your posts, think of posts and topics that would be interesting to read and would grab the viewer’s attention just simply by the title. No caps lock required. No special ALT characters. It should be just a good old topic, with an interesting subject and a proper base to it, something that would invite people to comment and to be a part of the conversation.
A lot of posts nowadays do not have any base and meaning. For example “Good morning” posts and Good night” posts. You would only find a ton of users coming on to view your article just to type out a good morning or good night back to you. Yes I agree it may get you some views and likes, and some comments too, but these would be only from those users who are your friends. So if you do not have many friends you would be losing out.
Yes if you have a great topic at hand to discuss and you are sure to get the comments that you are hoping for, you don’t need a lot of friends and followers, your post alone will fetch that for you.
Just the topic title itself would help you in getting special attention from newbie’s as well as the oldies of the site.
I know that most of you know this but even after knowing this some of us need reminding because we tend to lose that focus and end up putting up posts that don’t really matter.

Yes, you say right that most of the writers write such topics remains free of comments due to no charm in topic. When the topic will be universal people will comment on the topic and when the topic will be for some peoples' interest a few people will comment one the topic.
Always choose the hot burning topic of today or tomorrow belong to social issue not belong to any special person or thing it loses the interest of the readers while reading the whole article.
Your topic must be full of information and that may attract the readers' attention. Language must be easy to understand not difficult that a lay man could not understand your message hidden in your article.
