You all might be wondering why I choose to name my topic as Playing on the rise?
Well, playing on the rise, in cricket terms is playing a fast ball that is pitched around off-stump, and is bouncing a good deal with a great sense and balance and driving it with the bat towards off-side.
I loved to play this shot, but not all off-stump deliveries were easy go for this shot, nor are we always in a great form to play this shot.
In terms of Literacybase, there are a few points:
1)I was initially a bit reluctant to join this site, whose first invite came to me a few weeks back. Yet when I saw the peopl’s participation here, and the quality of articles, and fact that they undergo a review and approval process, I joined it.
2)How do I model my writings here. Do I follow and model them on Wikinut style?
Or follow my Blogjob routines?
Or just expand some of my Mykites work, or post them with some refurbishing?
It is a tough call, if we have to decide to continue following a pattern, or charter a new path.
Yet charting a new path, on an unknown territory, though filled with risks and dangers, can be rewarding and enriching as well.
Hence, even though I had a conflict in my mind as to my course of action on literacybase, I decided for an independent path, as much free of clutter of yesteryear and yesterdays.
Also, a free mind can explore more thoughts and come up with better ideas.
So, on literacybase, I would rather be in a free willing, and fearless mode, though staying within limits.
And yes, this looks like a good forum for my story series instincts and sharp economic and political insights posts.
