Does bad Grammar and Spellings Annoy You?

In Malaysia, English is considered as our second language while Bahasa Malaysia ( Malay) is the National language for our country.

I believed that certain Asian countries had adapted English as their second language too since it is easy to speak, write and read English from A to Z.

 Although I do not embrace a 100% perfect English, I could still write articles without much grammar or spelling mistakes.

Thanks to MsWord that comes with the Spelling Checks that had helped me to sort out the mistakes.

You can see the red jaggard line under the word that is not in the list.

Right click the word, you will have the option to choose the correct spelling or simply ignore it.

In Evernote, you could use it online to draft out your article and check the spellings under Tools.

However, there isn’t any Wordcount unlike MsWord that has this feature.

Are you annoyed with Bad Grammar and Spellings?

• Nope. Everyone is not perfect.
• A few spelling mistakes are acceptable due to typing mistakes especially when one is using smartphone. The touchscreen keys are closed to each other.
• Bad grammar is acceptable if the writer’s origin country is located in Asia. Furthermore, English is not his mother tongue.

Are you annoyed with CAPS LOCK writings?

• Yes, definitely.
• CAPS LOCK signify that a writer is writing in a raging mood, angry and commanding language.
• It sends the message of SHOUTING and DEMAND that do not please any readers at all.
• It is wise to check the CAPS LOCK is off before you publish your article.

Are you annoyed with “No punctuation marks”?

Yes, I am.

Without punctuation marks such as :

. ( full stop)

, (comma)

! ( exclamation mark)

it is difficult to read a post that goes on and on without an ending.

Although, a writer with a good common sense could figure out where the sentence stops, which sentence begins, it is uncomfortable to read a full page of sentences without a pausing mark.

What should you do with bad grammar and spelling mistakes?

• A true writer should use the SpellChecker which are Free Online to use. For example:
• Use MsWord that has the feature of Spelling Checker embedded in it.
• Red jaggard line under a mispelt word indicates “Spelling mistake”. Just right click your mouse to see the few options given to change the word.
• Green jaggard line under a word or sentence indicates ” grammar mistake”. Right click your mouse to see the suggestion given by the program.
• Use Freespellcheckers dot com to check for your spelling mistakes. Just copy and paste your text into the blank box and wait for the site to check for you.
• Use Grammarly dot com to check for your grammar mistakes. You can download the software and it will embedded to Literacybase automatically. It will check for your grammar and spelling mistakes at the same time.

Last but not least, not everyone is a professional writer here.
