In the past during the 1980’s, school bullies were the hit among
boys or girls schools.
Big bullies were formed in groups where they bullied the weaker
students or the bookworm students.
During my school days, bullies were common among low grade
students.
Now, with the advanced fast paced technology of Internet,
bullying doesn’t stop at school.
It continues at home where the people all around the world knows
your dark secrets because someone had became the black sheep,
took opportunity to spread around your dark secrets in the form
of Cyberbully.
Cyberbully usually occurs among teens and young adults are they
are maturing, learning the pace of interacting with the outside
world. Problem is, they DO NOT KNOW the dangers or harm posed
to them.
According to a survey, 33% of Malaysians students have been
cyberbullied online by anonymous person.
It can be your enemy or a person who is jealous of you.
When you take a personal photo of yourself, any parts of your
body and send it to your close friend as a joke or to help you with
your problem, you should bear in mind that your photo may be
leak out to other friends even though your close friend did not do it.
Once your snapped photos are circulated in youtube, FB, Twitter
or any sharemedias without your consent, you are being
cyberbullied by someone . You are victimized.
Strangers or people you know sent harassing or threats text
messages to you at FB, twitter (any share medias ), SMS or
emails are considered Cyberbullied.
Those people who sent the messages are Cyberbully.
( You bullied someone )
If someone uploaded your photo (original or modified with
software ) and included insulting text messages or turned it into
a video and upload at Video sites ( youtube ), treated it as a joke
, it is also considered Cyberbullied case.
If you had done those stuff, you are the Cyberbully.
Being called with stupidity names or initial names or nicknames by
friends may turned into an offensive remark if everyone you know
calls out your secret name in the public.
Name calling is also a cyberbullied offence.
If you call your friends such names; you are a Cyberbully too.
Victims who are being cyberbullied are reluctant to speak to anyone
of his/her embarrassment , especially their parents because they are
afraid to be scolded, reprimanded or computers, cellphones taken
away from them.
It is true that your child / teen may not realized that what he was
doing made him into a Cyberbully because he did not know that it was
wrong to do so.
Nobody tells him that his practical jokes and comments could hurt
someone that may lead the victims to commit suicide, stress or
behaved weirdly in school or at home.
Cyberbully people are cowards or innocent.
They dare not bully the victims face to face.
Hence, they cyberbullied the victims online with fake accounts but
they did not realized that this sparks the fire, it can spread like a wild
fire in seconds without thinking of the consequences.

@peachpurple If you consider trolling in social networking sites such as this then I can say I have had that experience at another site. They were a group running down many of us, criticizing and making fun of us. But the leader there is no more seen there and all that has vanished.
This is a great topic for the concerns of many people into today's not so safe world.
You had described the most advanced way to bully someone. It is an old issue and still going on in destroying the lives of innocent souls. I do think that wherever we go, cyber bullying will still exist. The best way to do is to monitor the child's activity in using the internet.
There is some news circulating in social medias that take their own lives because of being bullied by other people. The worst thing. the bully is not visible in the social media. They camouflage themselves with different usernames. We must admit that this kind of activity is not regulated or monitored.
