Greed is Trouble

Watch out for greed. It can take people to places they simply don’t want to go but they don’t know they don’t want to go there at first. Greed can create war and cause division. It doesn’t solve problems. Greed creates bigger problems. In 1 Timothy 6:10 it states, “For the love of money is a root to all kinds of evil. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. Greed can leave people in a state of insanity. One who is riddled with greed will want more and more. They’ll never become full unless they re move the spirit of greed.

People who Fall for Greed

There’s way too many people who have lost their lives due to greed. We’ve all heard of stories of people wanting more so they take out polices on their loved ones and find a way to obtain the money for their own pleasure. We’re in the world of more and more. People are so in tuned with obtaining and not in tuned with giving. It’s a bitter and cold world and for those who aren’t riddled with greed, they should stay clear of those who are, they too could be sucked in by the greed bug. Greed is so awful. It creates hate and it doesn’t like unification. It wants to grab as many people as it can. It’s Satan’s field. Well, that’s where greed belongs, it’s apart of Satan’s. He wants people to be consumed with greed. That way he can overtake them and break them down so that they’re faith leaves.

If we’re not strong in faith. We can easily be pickings for greed. Greed can tear us apart and make us hate one another. Those who don’t know God will easily fall for the trickery of greed. Wanting better for yourself and family isn’t greed but wanting more when there’s a whole lot is being greedy. Those who aren’t into giving are filled with greed. A giver isn’t greedy. They will want to see others “prosper” but for those who don’t like prosperity for others. They aren’t doing a service to society.

Greed won’t hide. It will let everyone know what it wants. One who is filled with greed will be triple minded. They will be on one person side and then another when they find out that the other has more. A greedy person will turn away from their family in order to obtain money or whatever’s connected to the greed.  They’ll want to have it all. No one can have it all.

Some don’t need more money. They simply want more money. If one can help it. They should find friends who are willing to give to others and feel good about blessing others. Those with the greed spirit can be challenging. They won’t care how others feel. They’ll want to gain more and watch the poor with gleam. Stay away from greed. Greed offers no hope.

    • I agree! Greed is the root of many problems and very directly related to money and being selfish at times.

      • Greed involves selfishness. We'll all been selfish at some point but greed is on another level. It rarely is out to help but it will be out to take as much as it can. The bible certainly tells us how much pain greed can inflict. If we want to know more about greed then that's where we can obtain resourceful information.

      • This is so true. But the thing about greed is that it tends to inflict pain upon others who are just at the mercy of these greedy people.

        • It can create pain for others and it continues to do so. Greed is one of those things that will be here until the end of time. We have to try to avoid greed and sometimes we're surrounded by those who are so consumed with greed that they lose their heart when it comes to other people. They may not desire to help others but to receive and rarely give.

      • Greed doesn't care. It is similar to hate. Greed can take people places they wouldn't agree to go normally but because the greed has taken hold. They become monsterous. Sometimes people can seem as if they have it all but they may want more and more. Some people become riddled with greed at an old age. It's so unfortunate.

Sometimes people can seem as if they have it all but they may want more and more. Some people become riddled with greed at an old age. It's so unfortunate when greed flows all through atmosphere. We are often surrounded by greed but thank God that we can pray those things away from us.

      • I hope you're not implying that I'm greedy. Greed doesn't live in hearts of those who are giving but can live in those who expect one to take care of everyone. That's greed in itself. Sometimes one can't avoid coming in contact with greed. Have a blessed.

    • At present, there are so many greedy people that never tried to stop if hurting the others. Bad karma will strikes back and repentance will be the last thing for a greedy person to do.

      • There's plenty of information about greed and there's scriptures that will tell us how awful greed is. People can lose their minds over greed. It causes rifts in families and causes pain within our society. We never know when it will make it's way within our communities and within our homes. Greed can create chaos.

    • There are so numerous greedy people all over the world. By hook or by crook they do whatever good for them and bad for others. We even have greedy relatives wanting to own the inheritance from parents and do bad to own siblings just to satisfy their greediness. But sad to know those greedy people usually suffer deadly disease until time comes their money vanish on earth and so they as payment of their sins.

      • Greed destroys and sometimes it runs in families or it enters our lives some how. Even if greed enters a person's heart, they can remove it, by asking the Lord to take it away from them in the name of Jesus. Greed causes so many problems just like hate. It's understood why it's one of the deadliest sins.
