Choice of blog tools are not insignificant. If you are serious about your blogging, you should avoid different types of web-based tools for free. Established and popular blogging tools that you can install on a hosting are WordPress, blogger etc.
Blogosphere live and develop through their links. Therefore it is important to have a proper blog roll, that is links to other blogs. Linking primarily to other bloggers in your area of blogging. At the same time, it is not wrong to link to some large and well-known blogs outside your area. Bloggers are generally fixed at some place and a lot of them regularly use search engines like Technorati to see who links to them, and a mention of the biggest bloggers provide both traffic and status.
It is important to link to other blogs, even in the blog entries. Do not forget to send so called trackbacks to the sites you link to. Ping on pining services like pingomatic, and search engines like Technorati. Interestingly, you can add the ping feature in your blogging tool so that it takes place automatically when you publish a new post. You should also register your blog on various blog portals.
In the startup phase, you should spend more time on the blog than you plan to do when the blog is established. Enter one or more posts a day for the first two months.
