3 Tips to Start a Business Website

If you are about to start your own small business, or if you already have a small business, but do not yet have a website, it’s time for you to start thinking about it. At present, almost all businesses have some form of online presence. It helps customers to find you, and with that buy your products.

Therefore, here are three tips you can consider to design and create your website.

1. Act as if you are your own customer

In the first place, I would advise you to imagine to be your next prospective customer. How to apply the information? How do they buy? This enables you to understand the underlying dynamics when one of your customers are looking for your product. These days, look for those people who are online most of the time to find information or look where they go for their next purchase. That is why the website has become a key success factor.

Example : Let’s say you’ve always been obsessive of eatables and last year opened a new stores named ‘tasty food’ and as you expected the business is pretty good. In spite of this, you want to increase the number of young people who visit your stores. To achieve this, you have made a new type of snack that you believe will be a big hit among those teenagers. But you observe that all those teenagers going by your shop are just busy looking down at their cell phones. Therefore, it is your smart choice to create a website to promote your business and reach out to those target audience.

2. Select the most important information

Select the information that is most important to your customers. In other words, what you want your potential customer to know about your business before you meet. Always, remember that less is more. It is but expected that you add everything a customer might need. ut this will only dilute all the information and make it more difficult to read and navigate.

Example : Of course, the eatable’s site needs to contain: the new items, eatable’s address, opening hours and a good picture of any eatble item to passionate customers.

3. Choose a good name

Finding a good name for your eatery is also very necessary, when the business is likelt to continue for a long period of time and are used to identify you and your business. With a simple but good name, which the customers can always remember, it is easy to spread and make everyone feel to your website and thus you.

On the Internet, the names are known as the domain name. It is most common as .in for India and .com for worldwide. But these days there are actually hundreds of domains to select from. You can even have several domain names, such as both .in and .com pointing to the same site.

In addition, it may be a good idea to check the social media platforms like twitter and Facebook to make sure that the name is not already taken.
