11 Ways to Live a Happier Life, According to a Psychologists

These are the following ways:

1.1.  Practice Gratitude

           There are many of us who sometimes forget about the person we owe much so we can achieve our dream. I do not know why there are people who seem blind to see the past in order to recall those people we owe a lot like our parents, brothers, sisters, friends and neighbors. We have to be grateful for them.

2. Find a place of Flow

          When we are so occupied, we cannot have a better feeling. It seems we never like to mingle anyone. We seem in and out of control. The best is find a place where you can feel so relax and cool. This way could lead you to a better you.

3. Smile More

         This is the best to smile more to forget the past and present. It is through smiles where we can attract the attention of others thereby creating an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie. There is a very famous line which states that “Smile and the world will smile with you; cry and you’ll cry alone.”

4. Maintain an Optimistic Attitude

     It is true that there are negative-minded persons and they are hard to convince. But if you can give a chance for yourself for a better you, try this way in order to be happy in life.

5. Embrace Your Mistakes

       We are humans subject to commit mistakes, therefore, if commit an error, we have to take it and pledge not to do the same mistake again. Acceptance is what makes us feel happy .There is avoidance of guilt from pretensions. Act now.

6. Surround yourself with Supportive People

          This is also one best way to live happily by having supportive people ready to extend their helping hands to you. They are people you call friends you can lean on. They will also have the best advice for you during your downfall.

7. Learn when to say “No”

          Yes, let us not pretend. Let us not be arrogant. Let us be practical and realistic that whatever problems we would face, those happen because of too much tolerance for others without knowing some risks along the way. It is not hard to refuse.

8. Unplug & spend more time in Nature

     If you feel suffocated with so many problems, try to escape from the realities by going to the sea. Shout out there your grievances and heartaches.

9. Practice Forgiveness

      This way can ease some burdens due to hatred. The best way to heal the wound is to forgive someone you consider an enemy. The forgiving may be done through your heart.

10. Try New Things

       In doing this, you may forget the past mood. The mind will focus on the recent activity. It is so important to give brain wok so that it could function well. It is important to be always in the active zone.

11. Look in the mirror every morning and say “I Love you!

      Wow, the best. This is what I sometimes do every morning to greet myself “hi” “hello.” LOL. If you try to do this, your day will be colored. You will always have a happy disposition day.

    • Wow that's a nice reasons for living a happy life. You have just nailed all those facts are true and am sure if someone followed them to the latter they would find their lives stress free. But waist I can say is that living a happy life all depends on you and how you treat life. For instance are you always complaining about everything and everyone around you, do you ever forgive people who have wronged you, are you always gloomy? If all this things are part of you then you are not doing so well. You need to shake them all off and start looking at life in a different light and you will.never be the same.

    • Three plus one commandments to be happy. I think it will never be hard for me to do it. I have smiling face and always been feeling happy. I can forgive easily those people who do bad and sin on me. The psychologists would be brooked on me because there no such problem to me.

    • Anitah Gimase , Yes , they are very nice ways to lead us to a happy life. These are not hard to follow,yet others may find it hard if they are not friendly type, not a smiling type. There are persons despite surrounded with funny people, they still show heart hard like a rock. How nice to sing them : Rock baby rock hahahaaha.

    • SuperD, That is nice you are smiling and you are always happy. Seldom are persons like you. This time where prices are fluctuating, most faces we see are frowning hehehehe. They might want to break themselves from some burdens only hey know and solve. They better have on line jobs that are legal,like what we are doing so they will forget yesterday and today.

    • How nice to live in a stress free society. What stresses me this time are the many ill happenings in my cuntry of residence, Philippines. despite how our Ph president tried his best to promote peace and progress to the country, but there are still stupid people that destroy the image of the resident.But, I have to force my self to be happy to love too long.It is hard to feel happy by applying all these 11 ways, but I will try my very best to
      promote these beneficial ways, well anyway, it is myself that can benefit all.

    • Very relieving, many people actual focus on their stress and giving it much importance, in so doing stress overtakes them. Others never want to accept their mistake to say simple sorry for a better start and it hinders growth and understanding, they tend to continue to live in a circle of their own understanding and belief. Unforgiveness is the greatest enemy of healthy living and happiness, it tires down the heart. People tend to use the word I can never forget.
      Many can't change their attitude because they say "I am like that" then whatever they see themselves as continue to be their greatest resistance.

    • There are times that I forget about what I learned on these ways. The one that I always do is the greeting of myself in the mirror every morning hahaha. One time my sister caught me saying to ,myself.But I explained to her. Who knows she might also apply, LOL.The other way that I am always doing everyday is to smile more,LOL. My co workers wonder why I am always smiling and happy. I told them the secret and they were all excited and apply right away the process hehehe very contaminating effect.
