1 More year and my car is paid

I have been working at my current job for 1 year and 6 months. Last year i had the need to buy a new car because fixing my other one would have cost much more than a new car. I decided to have a payment plan for two years since my boss always gave me indication that i was going to stay with them for some time. I have recently been told i was going to stay for at least another year so that helps me becuse i can at least finish paying my car.

After paying my car and if he decides to renew my contract again i am going to try and open a savings account. The money i would be putting towards the car would go to my savings account.

I mentally am not prepared but i have the age to already be living on my own, the problem is just that minimum wage and living alone do not combine. I would need to gain some more money to do so.

If i had the salary necessary i would actually be living on my own. But now i need to try and pay off my car and other debts and straighten out my life, once i do that then i can finally start thinking about the future.

I want to try and contact the company to see if when i get paid from my vacation, if i can give a little extra to pay off my car a bit faster. I am just not sure if it is possible and if it isn’t then that is just dumb. They would have the loan paid much faster and would be better for me also. I would pay off at least 2 months with vacation money and another 2 months with the christmas bonus.

Less 4 months to pay and i could start saving earlier. I guess i got to see how it goes. Hopefully no other incidents will happen to prevent me from getting all my debts straighten out.
