Writing and Blogging Doesn’t Need to be an all day Event

Writing doesn’t have to be stressful it all depends on what type of environment a writer is working in but there’s writers who don’t have to work as hard as others. Don’t have to overwork and writers and bloggers deserve some time off. Time to gather thoughts and to engage in some getaways. Some writers may feel as if other writers shouldn’t take some time off. Everyone needs to rest. Rest is very important and although there’s some who may be workaholics not all are.

Some writers or bloggers will work long hours while others may work less hours in a day. Don’t have to work on writing projects everyday all day. Progress can be made when completing some tasks. No matter what’s said. “Every writer will have their own style and work at their own pace.” What others may view as slow progress another may not. There will be a lot of opinions. It’s up to the writer and blogger whether to work on a constant basis. Not what others perceive the writer or bloggers should do.

Working smarter is best. A writer may not want to put in long hours in chaotic environments so just getting the work done and doing some more tasks and moving on to something else will decrease the stress level. So many may change their working style based on what others have to say. The ones who don’t work in the field may not know exactly what writing entails. It’s always up to the writer whether to take in what’s being said.

It’s best to apply the methods that work. Not every method will work for every writer and blogger. Some may not understand a writers style so there will be a lot of chatter. Some writers prefer to work later in the day while others may choose early morning hours to work on projects and other tasks. Individuality. Some writers are also authors and working on a story or book will require a little more time. That’s when a writer may put in the long hours trying to complete a story or book. Depending on the “timeline” there may be little breaks.

The focus should be on trying to “make some progress.” Not on how others perceive a writer should work. So many may have a lot to say how some writers and bloggers should work. All writers should do what’s best. If there are deadlines then make sure to complete the tasks on time or before the deadline. Writing can be very rewarding and although some writers may experience some pressure. If they’re loving what they’re doing then that’s what really matters.

    • Great article. As a writer, myself, writing can be challenging. It is great when you have inspiration and a theme that you are excited about. On the other hand, it is hard when you have writer's block. Even the best of writers have had to deal with writer's block that is why we writers need to be together and share some ideas. There is a saying--Practice makes perfect and this site does that. This is where you can develop your skills and maybe write a book. A goal that every writer should consider in their career.

    • Writing should be a fun way to express yourself. Even if it is a way to earn some money you should have time off to blow off steam. Time off can even help with coming up with new ideas. A fresh head always work better than a stressful one.

Like you said, each writer has their own method but they need to be careful to not overstress theirselves. It won't be good for their physical or mental health.

As a writer i think that free time or time were we just let our minds rest are the best times to come up with ideas.

Another way it to work 2 days a week and the other days when you have an idea, you write a draft down to not forget. Then on your writing days you elaborate you ideas.
