Would You Believe That Time Heals A Broken Heart?

I often hear people saying this line that time heals a broken heart. I believe those who say this have lots of experiences of life. We can never say something without varied experiences. Let us not forget that experience is the best teacher, and it is also through experience that we become stronger. Experience teaches us of many things to make life worth living. Having a heart broken requires a consoling heart to mend the actual pain. It might be consoled, but only temporarily. Time and time again once the said cause flashes to your mind, the pain keeps on inflicting the wound causing the owner self to feel bitter of life. The person victim of a cause surely hates the world and even blames God which is so wrong. Why should others blame God when God gave us mind to understand and heart to sense whether what you are facing with brings havoc to your own life.

When you experience heartbroken, there are many negative and illogical thoughts displayed in your imagination. Most victims of cheat or whatever causes that breaks their heart like to resolve it right away. Those who are weak may give up life and those strong find it a great challenge that may inspire their lives, meaning instead of feeling bitter and negative, they think of another way to make heart smile and be happy again. Life is indeed beautiful if we are always feeling happy. Though it is not that instantly to pacify the feeling, but of course, no one dares to feel the hurtful feeling. The heart finds a way to beat differently. Our eyes and ears can help resolve some issues of a broken feeling. This is because our eyes can calm the self if see beauty of nature. If you see a lovely falls, lovely roses and strong, tall trees, the sad feeling will be automatically converted. The previous stimuli will be replaced with recent feeling of admiration, thus the previous pain paves way to give the new beat continues its way. Then little by little our owner self can find another break onto happiness.
Further, there are many ways how to console the self. Acceptance is also the best remedy to console a broken heart. If we are only practical beings, rest assured, there is no pain to feel that seems like breaking the heart. Let us love our heart for it is a risk to have our heart sick of our own doings. As time goes by the feeling of breaking disappears. We have the mind to stop us unless refuse what the mind dictates you what to do. There are many resolutions friends may offer you, may offer me, may offer us all in case we cannot avoid to come across a heart feeling this way broken into two.

    • Time can tell when a heart is willing to be healed. I had heard this statement a couple of times. There are times that it takes time. For some people who are so sensitive enough and cannot go through the process of acceptance. Then, there is something wrong with them. They need medical help and it should be addressed accordingly.

I do agree that our family is always there as a support system. They will never fail your expectations. Dysfunctional family can still be a source of strength. I am sure not all of them are against you. They can still be the reliable source of accepting the fate in loving someone but failed to be together for a lifetime.

    • I do think time can heal a broken heart. Although one has to help himself. He has to fully eradicate the incident in his mind, although this is easier said than done.

Some would find another lover, when broken hearted. However, over time he too would realize that he is just fooling himself, by trying to make herself believe that it is love that he feels for the new lover, when all the while it is just to occupy his mind.

True, time heals a broken heart. But it takes a long time and even if it is already, the incident will be refreshed when you see the person again.

    • @Shavkat, hehehe I am so amused of your words that a dysfunctional family could also contribute some comforts to the aching heart ,LOL. Yes, true, our family is always there listening to whatever we will tell them. They are great sympathizers to our feelings. We need someone to listen to our woes and worries for in so doing we will be relived from too much emotional stress. Our emotion that is already broken will bleed more if o one sympathize the aching heart of the person or family member. We need to get the resolution form our siblings. That is why sometimes the eldest member in our family call our attention through a meeting to discuss an issue that needs all family members to gather to get the consensus or problem solutions. One mind is not enough.

    • @Dina, Hi friend? Thanks for dropping by, I am yes to your answer that time really heals a broken heart thought not instantly but it will really work for the concern person. It is also true that despite years and despite heart healed, but time comes that it will be refreshed due to some memories, yet during that instance, you will only remember the boy , but you could no longer remember the feeling anymore ( excerpt from a son),LOL.

The painful experience wold also serve as a lesson so by the next time around, there will be no more broken heart.

    • I think time helps a broken heart heal to a certain extent in a case where you lose a loved you, but it will never truly forget them. Although I think a broken heart in the case of a break up heals completely after some time and the strength to move on and past the heart break.

    • Well, my heart having been broken, I can tell you that the love of God and time mended it. I think we all have at least one time of life where things fall apart. You do not forget, but you can always be grateful if there were some good times. One way I got through was to tell myself I was not going to forget or reject the good times because someone else might never even have had that experience. Keeping my good memories meant the whole of a marriage was not negated. It helped me to forgive and move on.

    • I think a broken heart can be healed with time but for this to happen you first need to accept that. After having a big heart break we do need to find a way to console our hearts. Sometimes it isn't time but just acting out for a while and changing your lifestyle helps also.

Everyone has their own way of dealing with heartbreak and everyone requires time, but time alone is not enough. Wanting to heal your heart is part of the process and not closing it up to new opportunities.

Sometimes a good healer to a heartbreak is find that one person that can patch your heart up and make you feel whole again.

    • @Tracy, Thanks for your nice thought about this blog, very much appreciated. Almost all human beings cannot escape to experience heart broken. Our heart is so vulnerable and weak that it just feel that way when something leads a heart to break. Thank you so much.

    • @Jacky Hughes ,Thank you so much, very well said. there are ways to avoid feeling the pain all the time for we can no linger think of the best solution. It is only us who can solve our problem and mend a broken heart. Time indeed heals.

    • Sarah Freitas, Thank you for your inspiring and comforting words very well said and I thank you for that. I will also share this suggestion to my friends whose heart also broken because of love.
