My Wife’s Dream a Reality

How often do you dream? Do you perfectly remember your dream? Can you still relate it after a week or so? Do you find the realization of your dream? Do you tell your dream to others? These are the basic questions we may be asked to answer if ever we would be asked or if we want to share that dream with others.

Dreams are said to be the product of our ambitions in life. They may be a reenactment of previous experiences. They may be a prediction of the events that may happen. How sensitive we are in the dream have depends on our personal condition or on the way we have brought up by our parents.

When we start “thinking” while we are sleeping, a dream starts to roll on. We are like sitting in front of the TV set while we people, things, events in any situation. We are actively partaking in the said sleeping vision as on-looker or as the actual player. And when something worse has happened we simply open our eyes. But sorry for others who couldn’t make it. And you know what I mean.

So generally speaking every night everyone dreams as they fall asleep. When they wake up on the following day, they are ready to share what they have dreamed. Others they do it perfectly. Some related it partly. They have a lot of things seen in their dreams. They are symbols and they have a corresponding interpretation for that. Dream readers or interpreters who are born for that know the meaning for that.

My Wife’s Dream

She dreamed that our place was over flooded with water. She was standing in front of my former Church. At a distance, she saw a floating book, colored sky blue, flowing towards her. She never wasted any time. She grabbed the book and opened it, but the writings were unrecognizable. She kept it.

It was sometime in June 1980, when the two missionaries visited our home and gave her a lesson. One missionary gave her a blue book to read. She read it in her spare time and until she went down to the water of baptism. I was ahead of her two months. She told me later that her conversion was already made to her in the dream she had before.

She thought it was just a product of her imagination. She believed that the Church which she saw from where I belonged stood as the other faith and the book that coming over to her floating was the Book that contained the words of God, leading her to believe that God has appeared to a man to restore His true Church here on the earth.

The water that is flooding the place is the water of baptism which she would be her challenge and gateway to get through the Church of God which I haven’t told her before for I know she wouldn’t like to become a member. But I was wrong. She had been spiritually guided on what to do on her dream.

With that dream my wife had, I believe her. I know as what our Church leader said about dream is for our personal revelation on what to do and to be aware and prepared for the eventualities. I have also several dreams which I know they are God’s instructions for me as the head of my humble family.

    • Wow first and foremost i think that was more of a revelation than it was a dream. Because your wife was being directed in doing what she was or is supposed to do. But anyway I believe we all have dreams that come differently with each and everyone of us. I must say for me i hardly dream I say this because most of the time when am asked if I dream I say no, because I can't even recall some of th3 things that may be a happened say 1 hour before I conned out. Sometimes I do dream and the following day I share with my sister about my dream it may be vivid and at times not clear at all.

    • Seeing dream in darkness is the main job of dormouse and bats because they cannot face day realities but when human beings see dream there are some meaning hidden in it but not in all but in some dreams we may say dream come true.

There are many theories about why we dream, but no one knows for sure. Some researchers say dreams have no purpose or meaning and are nonsensical activities of the sleeping brain. Others say dreams are necessary for mental, emotional, and physical health.

Studies have shown the importance of dreams to our health and well-being. In one study, researchers woke subjects just as they were drifting off into REM sleep. They found that those who were not allowed to dream experienced:

Perhaps there is merit with all these theories. Some dreams may help our brains process our thoughts and the events of the day. Others may just be the result of normal brain activity and mean very little, if anything. Researchers are still trying to figure out exactly why we dream.
