When you browse the internet about health, you can see lots of articles, quotes, sayings, testimonies, and blogs about dieting. Why is it a trend? Why is it necessary for people to go dieting? Is there any reason for doing it?
In this current world, instant foods are everywhere. Almost all foods are chemically preserved and that affects our body. We even get weak, we suffer lots of diseases or illnesses caused by none appropriate list of food that we are taking in our body. So, why go dieting? Well, aside from getting the figure we want because being sexy is being admired, we are doing it to have a healthy body. We want to be physically fit. We need to have a longer life. We want to live a life that is disease free.
I bet no one is dieting just for fun. Everyone who is doing it had their purpose. We do it because our body will get benefits from it. I had a friend of mine who is obese. During our college days, she always receives bullying verbally. Through that verbal bullying, she was been challenged to make a difference. She couldn’t tolerate being bullied and she wants to show to everyone that she can also be as sexy as other people. What she did was asks a doctor’s advice about her situation of being overweight. Then the doctor prescribes her diet pills, however, my friend wants to do dieting naturally that is why the doctor just give her a number of foods that she must not eat and give the list of foods that is good for her. That could be possible. You can do your dieting in a natural way, but you need to do some exercise too. So, that is what my friend did. She disciplined herself from eating her comfort food like sweets and deep-fried foods and do an exercise like jogging in the afternoon after class. Now, if you only see her. She is not that chubby lady that every guy is ignoring.
So, you see? Dieting goes with purposes and goals as a motivation. If you don’t have any purpose in doing so, then you will not succeed from it. Purpose or goal in doing such thing is the most important factor that one should consider. Dieting is a trend because of many reasons people are creating.
