Why I Still Do Freelance Designing

I think a lot of my life was affected by freelance routine. I never developed a routine in which I can manag my health. I think a lot of bad changes happens over the past. I learned a lot of things about job and the routine. But some of the time we have to understand that we learn from our experience. And not all the time things went bad. We enjoyed some of the days too. So that’s something we have to consider when it comes to freelance designing. I think designing the stuff for print and web taught me a lot of things. I learned how to get back into the game of making money. So as you can see this was a learning experience. I wish to share some details of it with you.

Money

Design market does not have a huge money. But it earns you random earning through the projects. I earned every now and then. Some clients paid a good amount to me. I think lot of clients paying me good has changed the way I made money. I had to do a lot of things in order to make money. But with design based projects it came out pretty good for me. So that being said, it can be fun experience to see how the money was around.

Skill

Freelancing is going to teach you a lot of things. For example, the color therapy. You learn how to manage clients. Also learn how to deal with difficult customers. I think a lot of such small things can be learned when you work for others. I am not sure if you can learn those skills quickly. People come in very slowly in the life. And so does the money. So you have to take some patience out of this. And learn what you can do and can’t do. In the process skill that requires patience is where you should invest the most. That’s what I have learned from my working in freelance design stints.
