I will admit it – I am a spoiled wife. I am very blessed to have a very understanding husband and that my husband is a little bit different to most guys I dated. How different, you may ask. Well, I know most women would complain about their man constantly complains about tagging along when it’s time to shop, never gives them the right gift, or never buys them right-sized clothing. My husband is not like that. He LOVES shopping (sometimes even influencing my shopping), knows what to give me as a gift and knows my dress and shoe sizes! So when there’s an occasion, I usually receive something to add to my wardrobe, LOL!
We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary and while I don’t really expect anything grandiose, he gave me a very nice summer dress from a brand called Finery. I haven’t bought anything from this brand but saw some really nice lace dresses from the shops on display. If I wasn’t trying to save anything for our trip (crossing fingers) for next year, I will probably try to buy a couple of items when it goes on sale.
Anyway, let’s talk more about the dress. It is a shirt-style dress with baggy sleeves. The dress is white and has a see-through pattern in it. The dress is like a maxi-dress (or is it because I am not too tall?) because the hem almost touches my ankle when worn. I am not sure if it’s available in any other color but my husband chose white. White might not be my choice of color simply because I have a very naughty little boy right now, but can’t complain if it’s a gift, right?
It is really pretty when worn. The see-through design and the two knee-high slits make it a perfect dress for summer. Here is the outfit when worn. I wore it for dinner and paired it with some leather brown sandals. I actually wore a leather jacket on top of it since it can feel chilly over here when it gets dark.

Overall, I am really happy with the dress. Might not be the most practical dress I have right now but I can understand why my husband chose white. I am hoping I get more chances to wear this, though!
