What is the secret of longevity?

Did you know that the longevity depends only a half on our genes? All the rest is  a healthy lifestyle and the right psychological disposition. It is hard to believe, but the 300-400 years ago, the life expectancy was only 30 years old. Now a man of these years is considered as young. Since ancient times, people were looking for ways to extend the life span. Hygiene compliance helped prevent infections; antibiotics, vaccines creation made a lot of benefits in the medical field, and this really increased the survival and prolonged the life span.

In developed countries, the average life expectancy is 80 years, in Japan – up to 83 years. So if we want to catch up with the Japanese, just to put a little effort.

A  lack of sleep, especially chronic, harmful is causing stress, fatigue and depression. Too much slepp also is wrong – you get the symptoms of headache, there is a weakness, sluggishness.

In addition, at the the of intimate closeness the human’s body produces endorphins – pleasure hormones. They improves mood and soften the pain, in older life, when something hurts, it is very important.

Help other people. If you are going through a difficult period of life, find those who have even harder life, and help them as you can. In the background of their disaster, your problems will look like little things, but the realization that you can give people the benefit will help to feel needed.

Be creative. Take an interest in music, drawing, clay modeling, embroidery – what you want, that only would be interesting for you. Creation soothes, relaxes, reduces anxiety and stress. In addition, it stimulates mental activity, because every time we set ourselves new challenges, it helps the brain stay active.

Do not hold grievances. Negative emotions are hazardous to health – they interfere with the cardiovascular activity, promotes hypertension, changes of internal organs. Therefore, forget grievances and try to look at life more easy. For your own sake.

Laugh more. All long-lived people were open, friendly and optimistic. They like to joke, they are free to express their emotions. There is a connection between positive attitude and long-life. Gloomy people live an average 70 years, and humorous – 80 years and more. Think about it.
