What deceives us: our mind or sensations?

Mind and sensibility – two opposed expressions. Which is right and which is wrong? What is deceiving us? It is our mind or sensations? We used to think that mind never deceive us, that it gives true advice to us.

What is the mind if not a smithy of dreams and illusions? Sensations appear from contact with the world – vision, taste, hearing, smell, touch. When the illusions and dreams come into contact with the senses – feelings are born. When the senses meet the dreams, the feelings are positive, when they do not match; we feel sadness, frustration or anger. If the feelings deceive us, it is because the mind is deceiving us.

The sensation will never deceive – either hurt or not. However, the mind begins to create illusions and begins to look like we know the reason why it hurts – because this and other said something, this or other did something… After all, does not the mind create the pain?

When the mind begins to rampage, we tend to write off all to the heart, as if the mind is always logical and rational, and the heart is really wild. I think its skewed approach. The only clear and logical part is the sensations. Either we can see the light or not, hear the sound or not. And the mind – it is in constant turmoil, it not pay attention to real sensations, but creates its own imaginary sensations.

I think that the mind never “roll up the nodes”, but we feel it only when it begins to interfere with us and rise up emotions, and so it seems that we should blame emotions. While there are no emotions, it is possible to think that everything is in order, but it is only an illusion.

If the mind would be able to think logically and impartially, then it could be the right mind. But then there would be no emotions.
