Weird ways to Get Out in Cricket *** VOL. 1 ***

Cricket is a game which is still new for many and it has many weird ways to get out, out means the person cannot bat again in the same innings and he needs to accompany his fellow players outside the playing field and in the dressing room or any place which is assigned to them. So first on the list of weird ways to get out is handle the ball, as in hockey also the players cannot touch the ball with hand when it’s in play , same is in cricket, if the batsman who is batting and after the ball is bowled, if the batsman touched the ball with his hand which is empty and he does not have bat in that hand then he will be given out and he has to leave the field, but if he has the bat in his hand and ball accidentally hits his hand then he is not given out so if he intentionally touches the ball with his hand when the ball is in play only then he will be given out and not at other situations. Next is obstructing the field, this is a new addition as it was not earlier in the rules, so in it if a batsman has been seen obstructing the field and game then he will be given out, for example, if A batsman hits the ball twice intentionally, or if A batsman hits the ball and runs to take a run but in the process he comes in the way of stumps the wickets intentionally then he can be termed as out if the fielding team appeals to the officiating umpires for obstruction of field, It is very important to notice that, the umpire can only make decision if the fielding side has appealed to get the decision, many a times it has happened that the player was out but the fielding team did not appealed so in that way the decision can be given as out, firstly the fielding side should say “ How was that”, only then the umpire can make decision.
