That “Blessed” morning for Devendra
‘Oh, what a morning. How about a nice cup of coffee?’ asked Devendra, still clinging to the sheets he was clad in.
‘Yes its lovely, my dear and a coffee would be great.’, and Shalini gave her a nice kiss, and smiled shyingly.
Shalini knew that her “surprise” had made all the amends with Devendra.
‘It might be a bit late in the evening.’ Devendra told Shalini while having his Oats and Sandwich.
‘No worries darling, and I would take Ankit to a bit of a fun at the Xorient Mall.’, Shalini responded with a smile.
All looked so great that morning.
A Rude shock?
Devendra wound up his last appointment. It was 4:00, and still a good 1 hour before the Theatre show he had booked to watch with Kavya.
‘Shalini would have made fun of this show, and asked me why to spend 500 Rupees on a silly act by some mad people in those funny clothes.’
He further thought that it is fine since not everyone can have the same interests.
Yet, Kavya was mad about Plays, Poetry and anything to do with Arts. She can talk about classical authors, poets and their works for hours.
Devendra got in the cab. He picked Kavya from her office at the City Circus Business Park.
The traffic was too slow and noisy for this hour. Devendra had been in Pune for last 10 years, but now things were getting worse.
‘Shalini would have started shouting and behaving so impatiently in such conditions by now.’
‘Devendra, you need to understand. She has to take care of so many things, it can happen.’ Kavya responded.
‘Kavya, I think that I need to arrange for your meeting with Shalini pretty soon. I would like out of sorts when you two would be there. It is surprising to see one women not getting jealous of another one.’
‘Not all women are alike Devendra.’
Shalini was used to driving in the heavy evening rush, but today she was worried that she and Ankit would miss the Movie show of Ankit’s favorite animation heroes.
‘Oh another red light stoppage.’ Shalini exclaimed as she slammed her brakes and switched off the ignition for some time.
She stretched her legs a bit and had a casual glance towards her right.
And there she had the shock of her life. Devendra was holding hands of Kavya and they together were entering the Subhankar Theatre.
‘This is too much. I need to figure it out, who is with Devendra.’

Relationship is a sacred thing but a very few people know its importance on earth. Everyone likes to be in touch with friends and family. But, these days it is getting difficult. Geographical separation within family and friends has increased.
Professionally, the Web has been a boon to me. As a software professional, I have met a group of genuine people who give me advice, opinions and views. Conversely, I have been able to bolster my confidence by helping others through my advice and views.
These are selfless relationships, not based on monetary expectations, but on the basis of pure exchange of information and knowledge.
My personal relationships, too, have benefited greatly from the Web. My ex-colleagues are in the US; my sister is in the UK; and many of my college friends are placed over India. At times, I am on the move for work or personal reasons. Before the advent of the Web, this would have meant either staying disconnected from them or spending a fortune to stay in touch with them through long-distance phone calls.
The Web has made it really easy as well as economically feasible to stay close with my family and friends. I regularly share my life with my loved ones, by sharing photos and videos.
I do believe anything is possible as long as you put God in first and everything will be all right
