WASTAGE OF FAMILY RESOURCES IS A LOVE- KILLER POINT IN MARRIAGE

Wastage of family resources is one of the love killers in a marriage. Wastage means “Loss by use”,”decay”.It also means” the process of wasting”. Also wastage means “anything waste or the amount of this”. Family means “a social unit consisting of their parents and their children”. Resources mean “something ready for use or available as needed”. Family resources also mean “wealth and assets “and “something useful that a family has”. The family resources mean the wealth, money, land, skill, available to be used to enhance the welfare of the couple and their children. Anything that a family has is her resources. The misuse or destruction of those properties is called wastages. There are husbands and wives who engage in wastages.
Some misuse the family wealth especially land ,companies, farms, mining fields, fish ponds, market stores, construction centres, car wash centres etc.Many couples are endowed with gifts from God and those inherited and acquired within some years before or after marriage. At marriage the husband and wife pull their resources together to make their life sweet by using them effectively. These resources are kept to enhance the economic wellbeing of the couple and their offsprings.Some couples keep their resources for use at their old age while some multiply what they already have by investing the resources. It is embarrassing that some couples misuse or waste their resources as time goes on. This may be as a result of family problems. When the husband or wife sees that he or she is keeping the resources for partners and children who are turning to be destroyers or when love degenerates to hatred. No sane husband or wife becomes happy when the family resources are being misused or destroyed. When some couples see that the continuous existence of wealth, money, land, skill, will endanger their lives they immediately sell them off. Sometimes they give them out to other relations outside their family. However this is not too good. The husband or wife can make will or share the properties to family members before death so that those who misuse theirs later bear the brunt. The misuse of resources occurs even in a lifetime. There are prodigal husbands and wives. Some husbands who feel their wives are old go after young girls. The young girls continue to siphon the family’s resources in exchange for their bodies which they give to the prodigal father. Some sugar mummies are not left out. Some of these sex cormorant wives who detest their husbands do everything possible including the gift of family resources to their young boyfriends in order to keep their illegitimate relationship.
