Hello Everyone!
We all have a blog and love to have a traffic source. We can not make money if we do not have traffic. There are many ways to make traffic and there is a way used to generate traffic in a rich manner. This is using Knowledge sharing community like quora.com
This isn’t Facebook / Twitter where only your connections and their connections see your content (Sometimes, not even they based on your privacy).
Here, you are likely to get traffic because people will read your post even if they are not part of your community.
I wrote an answer on quora and it showed whopping 7500 views in just a week for a single question and was sent to their digest. 7500 views in a week and that too for just a question is hilarious. In case, you do not have a strong 7500 connection base, you might see this website as a better mode.
You need to find a suitable question which are action oriented. By action oriented, I mean questions which demand some actions.
Example: What to try if AdSense does not work?
Some actionable strategies work in such cases.
Try finding that question which has 1000 views. Quora is clear on that. Search it just like you search google for keyword research. Select the topic (not the question) which is new and most viewed.
You can start with a question which has 1000+ page views in just a week. Whenever you see a question anywhere, you see date on left side with page views. It is true that quora does not allow filtering based on date and views but the time you invest to research out is worth it.
Try to write sensible response. The answer you provide should be helpful and should not look like a promotional propaganda. Make sure that your answer is short and concise to the topic mentioned in the question.
Give people some reason to click on your blog. You can have one of the examples in your answer but try writing: Click here for more. People won’t click unless they feel like.
Also, give some personal touch. Instead of mentioning the BEST, try quoting your favorite. Also, add some images / videos to give some formatting benefits.
You can use tools like Google Analytics which are known to generate source of your traffic. You can see from where traffic originates. You can also see the average time spent by users and this method works. By this technique, you can be sure that people are reading the article.
You just need to make sure that your answer and the links have good quality. Do not promote nonsense because knowledge sharing communities does not allow that.

Have been a Quora member for a few years. I do like the site although I don't spend a lot of time because of other work. Never really thought of it as a means for driving traffic. Now you've encouraged me to take a second look. This post is an excellent blogging tip!
I took a look at the Quora and it looks very inviting and content rich. I know little about the internet and how to earn with it, so my priority is to get to know as much as I can.
Still, the Quora looks very complicated to me and I am not sure if I can utilize that sort of a website with my skills.
I am a member at Quora. Never knew its importance in terms of traffic until I read your blog here.
There is a lot of censorship on Quora, difficult to get anything approved
Quora is a site I have never heard about before am hearing of it now, sounds like it is a complex site that has a lot of things to consider before you can post anything I guess it also takes time before a post is approved
Quora is used for question and answer I have given thousands of answers on Quora and I am popular on Quora due to answering in the best way and with arguments.
It's easy to build a blog, but hard to build a successful blog with significant traffic. Over the years, we've grown the Moz blog to nearly a million visits each month and helped lots of other blogs, too.
I launched a personal blog late last year and was amazed to see how quickly it gained thousands of visits to each post. There's an art to increasing a blog's traffic, and given that we seem to have stumbled on some of that knowledge, I felt it compulsory to give back by sharing what we've observed.
Once you've determined the communities where your soon-to-be-readers gather, you can start participating. Create an account, read what others have written and don't jump in the conversation until you've got a good feel for what's appropriate and what's not.
Search engines are a massive opportunity for traffic, yet many bloggers ignore this channel for a variety of reasons that usually have more to do with fear and misunderstanding than true problems.
If you consistently employ a strategy of participation, share great stuff and make a positive, memorable impression on those who see your interactions on these sites,
your followers and fans will grow and your ability to drive traffic back to your blog by sharing content will be tremendous. For many bloggers, social media is the single largest source of traffic, particularly in the early months after launch, when SEO is a less consistent driver.
