my recent Jolse haul!
Another day, another skincare box, LOL! I think I shared with you about the amazing skincare website, Jolse, I keep buying products from. It is highly addicting to drop by their website but if you are looking for nice, effective, cheaper alternatives for your skincare, this is the place to go to. Just don’t overdo it like I do, sometimes!
Anyway, I was going thru my bathroom cabinet and noticed that my Loreal toner is almost done. I love Loreal products and these are my go-to products when I was in Asia but since relocating here in Ireland, I noticed these products are a bit more expensive! Probably because of the foreign exchange rate but regardless, that led me to try other brands instead.
So after checking Jolse’s website for a nice alternative, I was intrigued to try this huge It’s Skin pore tightening toner. Read a couple of reviews online as well and it went in the shopping cart! Bought this 400ml bottle for 13 USD (it was discounted) so I thought it is a good deal instead of paying for 8 EUR for a 200ml bottle of Loreal! I haven’t opened the bottle yet as I am still finishing off my Loreal toner but once I do, I’ll share the results here, of course!
Jolse offers free shipping no matter what but I also bought Missha’s lip brush. It’s been ages since I bought my existing lip brush and the spring went off so I decided to buy a new one. Bought this for 4 USD (discounted price) and it was almost the same price with the lipstick brush I bought x years ago! The bristles were a bit wider than my current brush but it does a great job to apply lipstick anyway. I’ll make a more detailed review in the coming weeks and post here as well!
I ordered this mid-June and took 3 weeks to arrive. I don’t have any complaints since it is standard shipping anyway. Plus, there’s no urgency to get the products. There is an option to pay for additional $2.50 to get the tracking number. Now, I used to do that with my previous orders from Jolse but since I didn’t have any issues with it, I didn’t do it this time.
I forgot to take a photo but as always from Jolse, all products were wrapped with thick bubble wrap – even the lipstick brush was wrapped! Too bad, the box was dented really badly probably as a result of the shipping process. But I just can’t imagine what could’ve happened to my toner if it wasn’t protected?
And of course, free samples! I received another pack of oil-blotting film, lip tint, hand cream, BB cream, foundation, and a couple of face creams! To be honest, these free samples excites me sometimes more than the actual items I purchased! I am also looking forward trying these and write a review!

This is a topic near and dear to my heart, because while I am a rapid and joyful consumer of skincare, I'm also fanatical about organization and planning, comparing costs, and hunting down deals.

participating in online community discussions, socializing with other Asian beauty product fans, chatting with fellow bloggers, researching ingredients, interacting on social media, replying to comments, messages, and emails, comparison shopping, updating my spreadsheet, building 'someday' wishlists, even learning Korean!
