Unable to Go for a Walk Due to Some Reasons

No one can deny the importance of walk when it comes to one’s health as a good health do require a proper walk on daily basis.

A lot of doctors emphasize the importance of walk, and they recommend doing so for some 5 to 10 miles per day. A walk improves our health. It improves our digestive system and it causes a positive impact.

We do know the importance of walk; do plan in this regard but still all our plans end in a fiasco.

There are certain reasons behind this failure. Some of them as experienced by me go as follows:

  • Rush of Traffic

Whenever I go out for a walk, the great rush of traffic hinders my movement. As you know movement in this type of traffic may prove hazardous. So, it is a better idea to find a park where we are able to move our limbs without any fear.

  • Encroachments:

Sometimes encroachments block my way during a walk. I feel that the shopkeepers, instead of being in their shops, are always out of their shops and cause a hindrance in my movement.

  • Laziness:

Sometimes I don’t feel like going out because of my own laziness (caused by some sort of ailment). Weakness may cause laziness in some cases. We must consult our doctor in this connection to improve the things.

  • Pollution:

As we all know that pollution has become a great danger for us. Whenever we go outside, we inhale dust particles and smoke emitted by vehicles of different types. So, it becomes impossible to have a walk.

Conclusion:

We must go out for a walk daily if we want to improve our health. That is the only key to success. Walk and good health are interconnected. Both go side by side and you can’t separate them. In short, you will have to spare some time for a walk. Plan your walk, keep it up for some days and enjoy the results. It will improve the things in just a couple of weeks.

    • I have enough space in my garden for walking. In the rains I walk inside my house. I have a biggish hall

    • The things you mention are really problems when you plan to walk, especially when you are living in high urbanized area or city. In our province, it was never a problem except for laziness. But even you do not do it every morning for exercise, along the way we are always walking for our daily activities of working, sending the kids to school and many more. We do it naturally, maybe this is the best thing living in the rural side of the country.

      • @SuperD: Somtimes I think that laziness is the man hindrance in this connection. Other issues are minor ones and one can easily overcome them by doing little efforts but the play becomes very tough when it comes to laziness.

I am lucky that a great athlete read my post and considered commenting.
        Thanks.

    • walking is a 'must' in our life One should have a proper planning to enjoy walking. we can walk anytime But what is mostly recommended is morning walk during winter season and evening walk during the summer season.
Whatever may be one should enjoy walking. One should have comfortable clothing. Generally, there is a wrong notion among the people that one should wear a loose clothing . This is totally wrong.

Wearing loose clothes no doubt will be comfortable But by wearing them you are allowing the muscles in the body to move unnecessary movements in unwanted directions. The hip muscles swing more and more affecting other parts of the body. The chest muscles also make unnecessary movements and finally may affect the shape or personality of a person. A continuous use of such dress will affect the others parts giving more strain.

while walking you may come across some stones and some uneven places which are likely to cause sudden jerks and shocks. The effect will be felt more in the ankle, knee joints, and the hip joints. Sometimes, they may cause serious problem
Due to these jerks, and shocks the nerves will move away from their normal position and the time to recovery may take more time.
Taking a walk wearing loose clothes will slow down the process of sweating. As most of the muscles adjust themselves to their comfortable positions. Wearing tight dress will not allow the muscles to take such movement and they have to adjust to the movements inevitably and they have to release the sweat from the position where they are.
So whether it is morning walk or evening walk always wear a proper tight dress that holds the belly, knees, and the ankles in their proper position. Wrist Bands, knee bands are also advised.Keep your belly area tight while taking a walk.
