True Summer Bliss, You Just Never Forget

Early as the sun rises the chill slowly drifts away.

The flowers absorbing all the warmth of another beautiful sunny day.

Around on the corner a fruit stand beaming with sounds, of all the joyful people gathering around. Enjoying all of what nature brings. The bright jars of honey, the red juicy apples.

The steam off the highways as the cars rush up and down, busy to get the day going. Working very hard, wiping the sweat from their brows.

Relaxing in a porch swing watching the kids play. Drinking a big glass of lemonade to help with the heat.

Birds flying high over the tree’s. The buzzing noises of all the bee’s.  Leaves floating in the air and butterfly’s are everywhere.

The night falls upon us and the temperature is just right, we look up at the stars and watch for lightning bugs to fly by. What a wonderful summer day it has been.

It’s just Summer Bliss. Something you can never forget. The warm  sun on your face and the laughter of children playing. The whole world slows down, the time feels like its just crawling by. When your sitting in the sun and just enjoying that moment. Closing your eyes and just taking it all in.

Just sit back and think about your favorite time. I was thinking about mine when I decided to write this. A beautiful summer day and night that I had with my family.

I love the moment after a very hot day when a cool breeze begins to blow. The night sky is so clear that the stars just twinkle bright. Spending a quiet night with family all tucked away and dreaming. The windows open with the breeze blowing in just enough to keep the heat from the day. Hoping when you awake that the next day will be the same.
