Top 10 Reasons Why you are Unhappy 6-10 Reasons

For the continuing saga about the reason of your unhappiness, I will be posting the top 6-10 reasons for this blog. You might likely to see yourself on some reasons and I hope that when you found out that these are the reason, you step up and solve your issue. Being unhappy is such a waste because you can always find things that will make you happy everywhere. Make it as a requirement everyday just like you are holding your cellphone, eating your food, drinking water, going to the bathroom, walking and everything…

 

 

6. Not doing the things you love

one of the reason why you are unhappy is that you are not doing that things you love. This is correlated to number 5 that is about not knowing what you really want. If you don’t know what you want, then for sure you are not doing anything to improve your life. How about what you love? There are lot of things that we love to do. Is that eating in your favorite restaurant, watching movies in a big screen, having with people that you really want as a company, reading a good book, having a warm bath with eucalyptus oil, roses or calming candles, doing your nails, or even cleaning your own room? What do you love to do? For sure you are just busy with something else that is why you are not doing it anymore, but since you are unhappy, you must do it to erase that kind of feeling.

 

7. Comparing yourself to others

the big question is, do you do it? Do you compare yourself to others? Why are you doing it? Is there a silent competitions between you and that person? Is it a must to let you push yourself to be the best? Does their life and yours could be the same in some ways that you compare yourself with them? The drama begins when you start saying “She is my classmate in college and now she is earning better than me, she has her own house, her own family, she is happy and I am not” Crying time? Need a tissue? After your drama, you will need to know this. We have different situations in life. It is good to think that you had a poor decisions with yours that is why you do not have something that they have. However, it is not the reason why you should be sad because you are still living, breathing, you have feet, you have hands, you can still make it happen. There is nothing that could be accomplished in a short time, unless you are doing something really easy to do but remember, it could still happen. It only happens when you make a move to make it happen. Instead of comparing, be glad that good things happen to other people, because it means it could happen to you too. Maybe you are just single it out, you are just looking on some other’s life but there are still great things that had happened to you that you just don’t appreciate. Start to assess yourself and stop comparing/blaming yourself because it is useless. It only delays everything. If you want, do not look on their lives anymore, focus on your own life, alone.

8. Making Life Harder for you

Life is hard. Tell me the person who are not struggling about life and I will live in their house to be oriented every day. Life is hard because you are well challenged and struggling to make ends meet but it is not happening on you alone, it is happening to everyone. Even the billionaires in business are facing struggles almost everyday and their struggles are much bigger than you but they never surrender. What are the hardships of life, it might be your boss, the heavy traffic, public commute, the travel, money, your mother-in-law, your neighbors, your sister, the decision of your partner, how to cook (yes this is a struggle), how to budget money, low salary, bills etc. However, these lists can still be resolved. If you read my number 1 reason, Worrying, you will understand that there are things happen inevitably and sometimes you have no control. It is hard with one inhale but let the heavy air get out with one exhale and solve it. Focus on the things that you can control, like bills, how to cook, having money, travel, public commute, low salary etc. These are the things that you can apply such adjustment to live by. However, on your mother-in-law and your boss, they have some issues with yourself. There are some people that no matter how you get low with them just to make you become friends, their mind are closed to possibility. It is beyond your control already so you better stop. Just make sure you are not doing something that will make them hate you. If they don’t want to make friends with you, then stop. It will take time. Time will tell.

 

9. Being Pessimistic

Pessimistic is the antonym of Optimistic. If you are negative all the time then your brain will have this firewall to accept positive ideas. You will get sulk in having negative thinking and your actions will be negative too. Being negative is obviously will make you unhappy. Being unhappy is heavy and I wonder how could a person carry that all the time. I have to admit I am one of the negative person but I do not carry the energy most of the time. I don’t have time to stress myself as I want to react to stress and not fret about it. To solve this issue is to be optimistic. Try to accept positive thoughts. Try to look on the brighter side. It is not easy to do to and even to maintain it but if you start applying that kind of thinking right now and be consistent, then who are you after 10 years. Maybe you are one of the great positive motivators in this planet.

 

10. Having unrealistic Goal and not taking action on how to make it happen

Do you have a goal? Does your goal defines the reality? What are the unrealistic goal? Let me give you an example. One of the unrealistic goals are telling yourself to earn $5000 a month, when you are only earning $400. Earning $5000 a month requires side jobs or some passive incomes. If you are not looking for other side jobs/part time jobs or starting a business of your own, then how could you earn it? It will only leads you to frustration. Even if you know a person that earns it, they had earn that from experience and it did not happen for a month or two. Be realistic on your goals to avoid having frustrations. Frustrations leads you to being unhappy and surely you will not believe on yourself once you are about to start a goal because of too much failures from the past.

Have you seen the reason of you unhappiness? It might be all the from the lists or some of it. If you able to find yourself on those lists, better start clearing those issues and do not sink it to negativities. Life is hard, don’t make it harder. If you are unhappy, there are things you could do to find your real  happiness and only you can solve it.

    • I don't do #7 or #9 anymore, I try to concentrate on just competing with myself to be better than what I was yesterday!! All, of these are all common and it's knowing that you're NOT alone can be helpful!!

    • These are the additional causes or factors that lead to everyone become unhappy and eventually become dissatisfied and frustrated. Well, as what I have commented in the previous post or first part of this post, the depression of one lying on himself on the way he treats himself, he carries himself. Success and happiness could easily be achieved by those have a confident of themselves that they could do things one at a time.

    • Well, I guess these entries of yours are the contributory factors why people fall into depression. In serious cases, it should need help. For people who are strong to face these challenges and turned into a new leaf is a good thing. If they do, happiness will be the end result for them to live functionally in the society.

    • Life becomes easy when realized that we are the author of our lives. Joy flows when we are able to let go the things we cannot change.

      Focusing all the reality and possibility gives way to actualize virtually every dreams. knowing that a dream may not be actualize if not acted upon. When we allow worries to cover our faces, they will b no room to bring in happiness.

      Lets think about this, all the time you worry about one thing or the other, has worrying been able to solve the problem? I think the answer here is capital NO! Worry doesn't add value to us but creates room for unseemly situation and circumstances.

      Everyone needs good things like living in parade, driving the latest car, having a good house and of course a happy family but I tell you, no one on earth have ever accomplished all these task through all the ten steps the author mentioned in this article. The happy ones are the joyous one and they are the achievers.
