Today I am grateful for

I wrote a blog post about being thankful for waking up. Since then, I started the habit to say “thank you” when I wake up in the morning every day. Today, when I woke up, I felt so grateful to be alive,  feeling great, and thankful to the universe and all the people around me. Hence, I decided to make this into a blog post.

Today, I am grateful for…

My two lovely children.

Though sometimes I do get angry with them, it’s actually because I am overwhelmed, tired, not feeling well and unbalanced. They are really good, caring, helpful and independent children, they have been taking care of themselves and playing or learning on their own when I am not feeling well. They also like to help me to do things, though not all the time. I do not really need to worry too much about them, though they are only 7 and 4. The elder takes care of the younger, and also teaches the younger too. I haven’t been teaching the elder son much as I am busy with my work and not feeling well due to my pregnancy, but he is really a self-learner, and he always take initiative to learn on his own or ask us questions. When I am not feeling well, they take care of me too.

I am really blessed to have them as my children, and I am sure they will take good care of the little brother soon too.

My supportive husband.

I always refer him as a supportive husband, as he has been helping and supporting me a lot. When I am pregnant or busy at work, he is the one who helps to do the daily house chores, do grocery shopping, do the cooking, and also take care of the children. Besides helping me physically on all these tasks, he really support me on my decision making. I am really blessed to have him as my husband, and we are on the same page.

Though I have not seen him yet, he has been with me for more than 9 months. We have been together for such a long time, and I believe we have already built up the connection even before we see each other. Though sometimes I feel the discomfort while he is kicking me or turning his body, I feel happy for it, as I know he is healthy and excited to come out and meet us, especially the brother and sister, I guess. I am grateful for being the mother to this little angel. I am sure he will bring us joys.

My parents

I am always blessed to have them as my parents, though we do not always share the same opinions, in fact I think I have quite different mindset than theirs. It does not stop them from loving me and supporting me all the time, I even think they have been too protecting me since I was young. They always try to help out, even I am already an adult now, though I always try to be more independent and do things on my own. They will be here taking care of me after I have given birth to my third baby. I really thank them for loving me so much.

My online friends

It is really my pleasure to have met so many nice, friendly and supportive friends from the online writing sites that I join. Though we have not met each other personally, we know each other better through what we wrote online, sometimes it seems like we are closer than those we might see them everyday. I always believe there are many great people around. Thanks to my friends for all the wishes. I will surely miss you all.

Let’s be grateful and count our blessings. I am sure it will make us feel great everyday!

    • It's sad to say or to note that many of us don't say thank you when we wake up. It's not by our might neither is it by our own ability that we wake up to see another day. Many people don't realize that.we always think that it's our own efforts that make things happen, no it's God that make us be where we are everyday. It's nice to read that someone somewhere is writing about being thankful. Many times we are always complaining about things that happen to us. We always seen to see the bad side of things and never realize that even in the midst of those bad things we have some good things to report about. We usually skip that but as we are always Tod count your blessings every time no matter how small than the big blessings will follow. As for me am always greatful for each day that I love to see, am greatful for my good health, am greatful for the gift of life, am greatful for the gift of family, am greatful for my fiancee, am greatful for my job and business God is good. There are so many things am great til I never take anything for granted because there are many out there who would love to have even one of the things that I have but they can't so each night I go to sleep I will thank God for the day they had been, and when I wake up I thank him for the night and waking me up I the morning and of course thank him for th3 day ahead.

    • The article is very good and informative for the readers but i wonder why to say thank you to whom we say thank you getting up early in the morning. I do not know when some one says thank what he thinks.

But differ with those who say thank you early in the morning. My reason is solid, we must say thank God because he gives us life again. Sleep in half death think a while there are many a men who sleep at night but do not awake the next day. Death angel catches her soul for ever.

I think happy are those who awake alive the next morning that why I say, we all must say getting up early in the morning, thank God we got up again. Do you agree with my opinion?

    • I agree that each day we wake up we should thank God for letting us have another day to relish . It's the primary thing to thank for , each time we awake and say our prayer .
