Tips for Superfoods for today’s superwomen

Superfood! What is a superfood? The first question comes in our mind after hearing the word. Women’s nutrition secret is hidden in the word superfood. Today’s women tackle their personal and professional life as a superwoman. To be charged up these superwomen need to know the nutritional facts of what they eat.

 

Most of the women did not care themselves at the age of young. But as ages grow, most of the females face numerous diseases such as heart disease, hormonal imbalance, weight gaining, digestive disorder etc. But, taking care of health from the earlier days of our life can defend us from these health related matters. There are lots of superfoods which are available in the worldwide market. And they are rather pocket-friendly as all can afford.

 

Green apple: Apples are packed with malic acid, one of the superfoods. And in green apples, a unique type of malic acid remains, which is liable to cure heart disease. Malic acid increases collagen counts, thereby aging process goes slow. Green apples contain a huge amount of vitamin c that boosts our immune system. We all know immune system resists our body from all type of infections and decays.

 

Omega 3 fatty acid: There are different forms of omega 3 fatty acids.

 

  • Alpha-linolenic acid(ALA)
  • Docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)
  • Eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA)

 

These all are found in the body of some particular sea fishes. These omega 3 fatty acids are the archive of some most valuable medicines. This protects brain cells from damage. Thus it protects the human body from Alzheimer’s disease. Omega 3 fatty acids are found in flax seeds, china seeds as well as in various fish oil (cod liver oil, sardine, and herring). It is also beneficial for heart health.

Probiotics treat some certain health conditions such as

  • Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)
  • Diarrhea

  • Allergy and sinus

 

Fibers: Food packed with fibers do great in almost many health conditions. Fibers are classified into two types: Soluble and Insoluble. Oatmeal, beans, almond, wheat bran, some veggies like cauliflower, broccoli etc are the main source of fiber. Fiber is potent to get rid of irritable bowel movement, obesity, diabetes.

 

At the end, everybody should know that only food can’t accomplish your nutrition deficiency. You need your superfood to digest properly; otherwise, all of your attempts will be gone in vain. You need to move your body, as the blood regulations go proper. Do some yoga and breathing exercises every day to stay healthy. Be healthy, go healthy.

    • Kefir , Sauerkraut, Tempeh these are the three in your list of your listed natural probiotics, that I don't eat because I think we don't have them here.

      I am happy to know that I am eating most of this foods. I love eating all kinds of fruits except for kiwi. I love them much more than veggies, though I like some veggies like lettuce , eggplant, okra, squash, string beans and all beans.

      Though I like meat also, but I see to it that I only eat them 3 times a week. Then, I eat fish the rest of the week. And when I eat these, I always accompany them with veggies.

      I do some exercises only on weekends since it's my only free time. I guess, I am already having a bit of healthy lifestyle because I also take vitamin supplements.
