Things I learned As a Freelancer

I learned a lot of things over the years as a freelancer. For example, freelancer almost get the low paying projects. And it makes it harder to even to make daily wages by being a freelance. This is because getting regular project is not going to be easy. Many people don’t pay to freelancer. And they instead focus on the big business. This is one reason that being freelancer and taking work seriously is not easy. Most of the people form the company and create process for this reason. It takes a lot of time to learn some of those lessons during your freelance career. So in this article I am going to list why being freelancer is not easy.

Low Price Clients

Once you get into the loop of low price clients, it becomes harder to sustain. Because you end up working the same as the high priced clients. And then the earning also becomes low. And this makes you wonder if you are ever going to come out of that problem. You will struggle a lot to raise prices. Because if you raise prices then In such case you are going to lose the customers. So you’d be forced to get new clients on better price.

Bad Clients

A lot of clients will leave you in the middle of the project. And that makes you wonder if they are any serious. They want quick work and good results, but a lot of them don’t want to pay. And that makes you think if you should continue to use them or not. I think bad clients are not easy to handle. I’d be very serious to even consider any client who is not much serious for the work. And try to avoid those type of thee clients for the work. I’d be really worried in such case as well.

Diversification

Most of the freelancers who are not diversifying are less likely to make money. Because here the work gets down pretty quickly. And you have to find some of the consistent work. It’d be easier for you to diversify with other skills. If you choose to work on more than one skill then that definitely helps. You need to learn more tha one skill and that is what going to affect your earning. More diversified skills, the better it is for your earning. That is the way many people have managed to make some decent money these days. So learn from some of the other freelancers that diversification is really needed.

Real Job is Always Better

Depending on how you get regular clients, you’d find that real job is always better. You have to find regular work online and offline in order for freelancing to work. Because people who are into freelancing need regular work. No work means you have to use the savings. And that is where things are going to be harder. So choose to do the real job if possible. And supplement the real job with the freelancing. And that is much better way to balance your earning.

These are some of the ways anyone who are interested in freelancing should consider. Please don’t lose regular job for freelancing. Because here everything is going to be roller-coaster in that case. Choose things wisely.
