The Scary Place That’s Killing Me

That place! Oh, that place!

I went into that place so dark and scary.

No one is around but me.

I feel the coldness touches my skin.

Making me quiver in chill.

I look around and see no one but dusky.

Oh! It was so creepy!

That place! That place so disturbingly shady.

I scream so loud and clear

But it only disappears nowhere in that shadow.

Where will I go? Where am I to turn to?

I’m wandering around endlessly.

I see no escape. Yes! Nowhere to go.

I cried and cried and cried!

There! I see a small light.

A small light that wakes me up.

Wakes me up from that dream.

A terrifying nightmare dream.

That dream seems to be the most nightmare I do not want to happen again. A dream that seems to be real and will happen in life but I know it was just a dream. A dream that takes all the calm of the night.

I seldom have a dream like this, however, when it strikes, it really scared me. After this nightmare, I often can’t sleep well the following nights.

I told my mother about it and she advises me to pray before going to sleep. These last two nights, I did what she said and it helps. I had a sound sleep. That is why I always believe in the power of prayer, the power of communicating or talking to God, and the power of God alone. Bad dreams are nothing compare to God’s ability to make us feel better and secure.

Have you gone through such nightmare as mine? Did you experience sleepless nights because of a bad dream? All I can say is you PRAY. Just pray to God and He will give you a peaceful, secure, and a good night sleep.  We can’t have a good night if we don’t ask God to protect us from bad influences.
