Becoming a modern woman is not associated with the development of business or other stunning achievements in the field of career. Each lady, despite her age, place of living or lifestyle choices can be a modern woman. The main thing is that she would has confidence in herself. Modern woman archetype existed in all ages, but in each period prevailing cultural, social, economic and even political trends influenced it. However, in the new world, the changes in this concept has become particularly prominent.

Modernism as a cultural current is formed in the nineteenth century. While changing various cultural phenomenon, women gradually began to seek emancipation. The change took place not only in everyday environments, but also political, economic spheres. Increased need to take better jobs, which has long been the only male privilege. Women wanted equivalent conditions, such as higher wages. The feminists began to actively shape a new approach to the woman and her capabilities. The new concept of the modern woman said – a woman can manage and play male power games.

With a flying away decades, description of the modern woman in the eyes of society became based on distorted concepts of feminism promoting hostility to a male gender and denying the woman nature. Formed a concept defined that modern woman all her forces must give to her development – studies and career. It was emphasized that the modern woman can be easy recognized even by the clothing style, abundant elegance, but avoidant femininity.

Finally, in our days, gradually, the concept of a modern woman takes on different values. Today, modern women no longer have to avoid to be a woman. Femininity is her advantage.

A modern woman is confident, objectively perceives environment, has rational thinking, she is characterized by intellectuality, she is ambitious, not lack good sense of humor, is communicative, not avoids to be emotional and caring, she fosters her innate beauty.

So, to sum up, the modern woman is constantly improving personality, reaching goals, cherishing the harmony, not afraid of change and, of course, just wants to be a woman. The main thing is self-confidence. Modern woman is when she firmly believes in what she do, is not restricted by the political, cultural or beauty stereotypes.
