People know this place as Kerala as this place is situated on the shores of Arabian Sea in the south western parts of India. The place has lush green vegetation and palm fringed, sugar like white sand beaches, scenic beauty and books full of interesting history, as this is the place where the foreign businessmen entered this ancient country.
This is in fact a full-fledged state though comparatively smaller in size but one finds so much while traveling through the coasts of Kerala, sheets of tender green paddy fields, lovely people with so much care for outsiders, cardamom groves and hilly plantation of tea and tapioca, though this land of rivers and back waters is famous for valuable cash crops like rubber, cashew nut and coffee as well.
The state has many places of tourist interest lead by Kovalam beach which attracts thousands of tourists round the year as the weather is always suitable for swimming and enjoying the water sports flanked on the western coast by the Arabian Sea.
Other popularly visited beaches include those at Alappuzha beach, Nattika beach , Cherai beach, Marari beach, Varkala. The Muzhappilangad Beach is the only drive-in beach in India. The backwaters in Kerala are a chain of brackish lagoons and lakes lying parallel to the coastal area also known as, Malabar Coast. Houseboats in the backwaters are one of the most interesting tourist attractions in.
Alleppey, which is largely known for its canals and the boat races held every year in August that is a major sporting attraction.The backwater network includes five large lakes linked by 1000 miles of canals, both manmade and natural; those get the water by many rivers around, and flowing through the whole of the state. The backwaters remain one of the main tourist attractions for tourists in Kerala.
Silent Valley National Park is situated in Palghat (Palakkad district) where lion-tailed Macaque is found. The Konni elephant training Centre near Pathanamthitta. Kerala is also known for Asian elephants, Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Nilgiri Tahr, Grizzled Giant Squirrel, Silent valley national Park in the Kundali hills, Indian Sloth Bear and Gaur. Many reptiles, such as king cobra, viper, python, various turtles and crocodiles are also found in Kerala.
This is the only state in India which has achieved the hundred percent literacy rates. This state is also known for its famous temples churches and mosques. There are Jewish settlers too and a visit to this state takes the visitors to this beauty of a friendly land to the ultimate revelation of deep rooted cultures and delightful sensations.
You may find that some of the names sound different because I am still using the same names which were applicable from the time I started visiting this beautiful state. Some of these names like Alleppy have now changed Allapuzha or Cochin to Kochi and Trivendrum to Thiruvananthapuram.

Yes, you say right Kerala of one of the best and famous states of India all over the world. It is known all over the Keralam. It is most important to visit Kerala if anyone has to go India he must visit Kerala and its beauty full of natural sights and scenes.
Look at the ascending and descending the sun looks like a fairy is appearing from the sea to welcome the visitors. In the evening watch the moon going down silently into water lake and sea water presents a heavenly sight for the new comers.
Its temple, churches and mosques add charm in its grace and dignity and its residents are all educated I think 100 per cent literacy rate as I have read as my friend has said.
Its evening sight is attractive and charming and presents a magical sight for the waters' eyes.
So many Beautiful places full of life .
All my fears and anxieties about life crumbling at our feet .
Then you see art , love and peace in places you'll never know or understand it's touch .
A place so highlighted by beauty lost in all it's glory.
